But they’re likely going BPA here, and if you believe Dawkins is starting to age it makes sense. You now have a HC that is an offense guy. If there was a WR he really wanted my guess is they would have got him. I don’t know that there were any WRs in this draft that were bona fide stars Maybe in the 1st round. But even the guys available around our 1st pick all had question marks. I don't think we were getting a WR1 or WR2 in this draft unless we traded up to the top 10. People want us to draft a WR just to draft a WR - and we do need one - but I can't pretend that we're getting anything but a special teamer w/ upside in the 4th - 7th rounds. 1 1 Quote
Turbo44 Posted April 25 Posted April 25 These picks anre all fine but who the f@ck is stopping the run up the middle and who’s playing lb. We literally gave up more 30+ rushing tds than any other team in the history of football and football is old as fxck. We literally are not better right now than we were on Wednesday and that’s really hard to do. 3 picks, 3 backups how does Beane have a fkn job? 1 1 1 Quote

While the WR & LB positions might be sexier picks - very unlikely we're getting a starter at either position this late. Beane is building depth. After what happened last season, that's not a bad thing. Fair enough. I think Beane forgets that the earlier rounds are for immediate impact. Am I wrong? 1 Quote
MarlinTheMagician Posted April 25 Posted April 25 I like this pick - he has talent and size. A lot less than VanDemark, can play tackle or guard. Have to protect Josh. Still receivers left, a couple I would love but I won't jinx it by saying their names! 1 Quote
TheBrownBear Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Reminder that we took an immediate impact starting WR with our 2nd round pick. His name is DJ Moore. 2 1 Quote

Not many lock down starters day one unless you have egregious holes still 1 Quote

Unless this is a Dawkins replacement, I don’t get it. didnt Beane and Terry come out and say this after they fired McD? that was Beane's selling point to get rid of Mcd to Terry. He could cover up his drafting...blame bad drafting decisions and production on McD. Quote
Jester Posted April 25 Posted April 25 I wonder who is advising Beane. There is no way that he’s in his own bubble and not getting feedback from anyone else, positions coaches, etc. Right?! Quote

DC Grid Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Perfect pick. A developmental OT. On a team that currently doesn’t have the personnel necessary to even line up in their new defensive scheme. Fire Beane NOW. 1 Quote

Incompetent drafting in the beginning of the draft has left us in a position where we need to find multiple starters in round 4+ just to field a complete team. Not good. 1 Quote

blacklabel Posted April 25 Posted April 25 The jimmies will continue to be rustled and the panties bunched until Mr. Beanes picks a player I personally endorse! 1 1 Quote

This kind of stuff is just overstated. We saw what Palmer and Coleman could provide in last year’s season opener. We need each to stay healthy (and Coleman to get his head straight) and play like that. 1 Quote

Inigo Montoya Posted April 25 Posted April 25 I agree with everyone who is upset about this pick! There are tons of players in the 4th round of this draft who would be instant starters on a Bills team that went 12-5 last year! Beane just decided to draft a depth player instead! That ignoramus Beane! I'm starting to wonder.... Does Beane have six fingers on his right hand? 3 Quote
