Will likely compete at LG but is a natural tackle.  Didn't start playing football until his 10th grade year in HS.  Was a basketball player with promise but fell in love with football.  This is a potential immediate contributor but also a hedge against Dion Dawkins decline in future years.  This is a decent pick.  He is a little raw but played in a pro style O and started at LT for two years.  He is quick on his feet and quick to set, has punch and drive but needs to improve to be at a pro level.

I think people might be forgetting that we're in the 4th round.  While the WR & LB positions might be sexier picks - very unlikely we're getting a starter at either position this late.

Beane is building depth.  After what happened last season, that's not a bad thing.

That's exactly why it's malpractice to not address those positions on days 1 and 2.

So, we traded down one spot to get a 7th rounder next year and decided that WR, DT, LB, and S are not priorities and got a developmental tackle?

Ok...the tackle is not a bad idea. Still, are we going to trade down more so we can pick up another 6th round CB when we trade back up for him in the 5th?

You didn't expect to draft 3 day one pro bowlers in a weak draft did you?

No but I’d expect them to address GLARING needs at WR and linebacker

There is a lot of hand wringing for a weak draft - I think they are going by their board and mot out of sequence to pick perceived needs - tbh mind if us know what Leonard has planned and who he likes doesn’t like. It’s gonna be hilarious when igb plays like half the snaps this year after all of you are freaking out bc folks here ( who know nothing of the plan) say he’s not gonna see the field

We really didn't need any starters. Maybe a NT you can argue.

Edge rushers will always be rotational guys.

A 3rd CB and a OT were sneaky needs.

Lets see what he does in the next week or two of free agency.

Id take a WR and an LB next and then a P in the fifth.

They don’t need starters on defense??

I doubt he will. He’s not obligated to talk to them anymore.

Apparently, he will be on at 9am monday.

I spent the night not defending BB but trying to get the board to see things with more balance. Now  I’m having a hard time convincing myself to see balance. Bills are up next at 125 and at first glance they don’t have a full time starter yet  🤷🏻‍♂️.. it’s time for someone to talk me off the ledge 😬

They have enough depth, rotationals and backups, they need starters.

Not in the fourth round.  You take a chance on upside and hopefully it pays off.  Beane has done pretty well further in the draft

I’m at the draft seriously considering getting a white board and writing draft a WR Josh please. And then having all the top 15 WRs remaining on the board and crossing the off one by one as Beane passes on them
