How is this draft mismanaged? I’m not just defending Beane for the sake of it but all three picks have filled needs maybe not the most urgent needs but the longer term depth and development needs have been filled.

 

Parker gives the team something after Groot and Chubb off the Edge, The corner taken is durable and a bigger player than the team has had in that role in the past, and now they added a swing tackle heir apparent to Dion.

 

I feel like the drought era would be drafting a RB and a TE early with this roster

I don't have any issue with this whatsoever.  He'll likely provide some immediate competition at LG and could potentially factor in as a replacement for Dawkins in the future.

We really didn't need any starters. Maybe a NT you can argue. 

Edge rushers will always be rotational guys. 

A 3rd CB and a OT were sneaky needs. 

Lets see what he does in the next week or two of free agency. 

 

Id take a WR and an LB next and then a P in the fifth.

They have enough depth, rotationals and backups, they need starters.
