But I don’t get the logic that Caldwell would be a high 2nd round pick, but because he’s 25 yrs old, he’s now a rnd 4-6 pick. If he’s good, he plays 3 yrs and then gets a 2nd contract for 3-4 yrs that ends when he’s 31-32. And he may not even sign thatv2nd contract with you. If he’s not good, then his age is irrelevant. I don’t get why his age drops him 2 rnds I also wrote if he was a little more nuanced so it’s a mix of being raw and being older but maybe you’re right it wouldn’t knock him down “2 rounds”. I love his potential and regardless of age, if he was a refined route runner he would go higher in the draft. His age being 25 has to also be a factor for a guy who is still raw. He only played one season against legit college corners and wasn’t physical for such a freak athlete. But you can’t teach his combination of size, speed and explosiveness. If I was running the draft room he’d be an early day 3 guy where he’s worth the high reward risk. 2 Quote
NeverOutNick Posted April 25 Author Posted April 25 Most of my top 25 are gone but Burks, Caldwell, Benson or Law. Those are the 4 dudes I’d love the bills to still get. They all have dynamic speed the bills need. I’d also take a stab at McAlister late even with the injury Quote
JBI$111 Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Did anyone draft Jeff Caldwell, I missed the last part of the draft and I don't see anything on him? Quote
