Expect a massive OL run in the middle of the first. - Another GM that I can’t remember stated that some of the Edge rushers that are projected to go high are going to go lower than expected and some of the Edge Rushers going lower are going to go higher. I take this to mean that possibly (Bain, Mesidor, Faulk) drop further than people think and guy like (Lawrence, Young, Parker???) go higher. -Daniel Jeremiah has a quote saying that GMs and Agents are all over the place on players and don’t know where players are going to go. - Jeremiyah Love to the Cardinals at 3 is a possibility - The Commanders are likely to stick and pick at 7 4 9 Quote
JP51 Posted April 17 Posted April 17 I am wondering if there are teams gonna stock up for 2027, like I will trade you this years 2 pick 40 for next years 1. 1 Quote
eball Posted April 17 Posted April 17 I predict that there will be many overreactions and immediate draft day grades that are revisited in three years and laughed at. Sorry to rain on the parade, guys…I know for many of you the draft is as exciting as the season itself. I just find it all a bit much. 2 3 1 1 2 Quote

I think that narrative is getting a little out of control. There is plenty of talent in this draft that teams will be clamoring for. 3 Quote

Once you get outside the consensus 15ish guys teams will have more scheme specific grades on players. There are a handful of guys that slide or get taken "early", but there are always guys the Internet draft community values way more than actual teams. That combined with the lack of top end talent this year are going to make it an unpredictable draft. And yes I'm hoping a ton of OTs get taken early. Slide the WRs down that board. If I'm Beane I'm still looking to trade back this year. 3 1 Quote

I think the difference your going to see from this draft vs 2027 is this years draft will have teams leaping other teams to get specific players and there are big cliffs at position groups and everyone is going to want to get a guy before the cliff falls out on them . 2027 you’ll see a lot of QB trade jockeying more than anything 2 1 Quote

Is it 2009 draft bad. i haven't paid any attention to it until yesterday. Doesn't seem great. Quote

Ahh, but THIS year you can watch the draft with french fries right on your sandwich!!! I’d rather be in the War Room than attend another Super Bowl. Having said that, there are a LOT of other things I’d rather do than sit somewhere watching the draft live for hours unless the Bills get every other pick to keep my interest. 1 1 Quote

First round will be seen as absolutely pathetic years from now with the strongest contributions coming in mid to late rounders Quote

That sandwich was so hyped to me when I worked in the Pittsburgh and everyone was like you gotta have it. Finally went and got it and it’s so damn overrated. Dry, not a lot of flavor. That’s the only knock I have on Pittsburgh outside of weather. It’s one of my favorite cities and I’d seriously consider living there if the weather wasn’t so grey 1 Quote

Depends on need but probably yes. Teams that need WR/DE/CB/OL help this is a good draft, if you have those spots covered you should probably double down on next year. 1 Quote

I also enjoy the city, but I need a little more sunshine and a little less slush in my life. I’m curious to see how they pull it off. The one in Nashville looked like a blast, but then it’s easy to have a good time in Nashville. 1 Quote
