After the anticipation of the pick and the drama that followed in 2018's draft, any other gathering pales in comparison.

I was at the one when they took Donte Whitner. I’ll never forget it. This guy stood up, presumably @Bill from NYC and screamed, “get Marv out here now!!! He needs to answer for this!!” He was steaming mad, shaking and veins were popping out of his head. The reaction was hilarious. Him thinking Marv Levy was scouting guys and deciding the fate of the franchise moving forward is equally as funny.

They need to play that video before Josh accepts his Gold Jacket.

I went to it the year we drafted Allen.  Would be hard to top that one.  Plus there might be a Sabres playoff game on that night so I'll be staying home this year

Yeah, the Sabres playoff game would throw a wrench in the plans. I’m probably going to skip if they play that night. I’m sure that it’ll be on there on a big screen though so that could be cool. It’ll be a road game.

Actually making a trip to the draft this year. Don’t know how that’s going to fare. Pittsburgh can’t handle traffic on game days lol

Every one of us knew we should have taken Ngata. Ridiculous selection.

I don’t think that they did it the last few years. They just did that Q&A with Beane and Company on the weekend. It’s back to night 1 this year.

where is it?

Jauron was his clone. Both Ivy League Grads who concentrated on defensive backs and special teams. Blocking was an afterthought.

One of my daughters in an Ivy League Grad. She thinks that football is too violent and pays it little attention. She likes the Bills and the Crimson Tide (Saban fascinates her) but usually doesn't watch games. My baby could have conducted a much better draft than those two did in 2006. Not even close, and peope like @BADOLBILZand @GunnerBillprobably could have turned this team around with all of those early picks.

I still don't use clipboards after that draft because my daughters saw me toss one in anger after that pick, so I decided to set a better example LOL. That said, people from this board were calling me on the phone after the McKelvin pick to hear me curse. In 2022 I was in Vegas during the draft. Like an idiot, I made the reservations not knowing the draft was being held. My wife and I were in the lounge waiting for a table at Gallaghers in NY NY watching the draft when it was announced that the Bills had traded up. I said, "Diana, these fools are about to draft another cornerback." They of course sprinted to the podium and drafted Elam. She said that we have to talk about me taking this too seriously.

Wait, why did you say they were about to draft another CB? The Elam pick was the first time they had drafted a CB high since 2017 when they took Tre White.

When McDermott (Beane wasn't there yet) drafted White instead of Mahomes (when we desperately needed a QB), he was continuing the pattern set by his play not to lose predecessors. I'm not exceptionally smart; this was an easy one.
