  1. 1. Who should the Bills select at 26?

    • Trade Back - Currently fielding offers. Would not trade back more than 10-15 spots.
    • WR - Omar Cooper, Indiana

It's time for our first TSW Mock Draft Poll.

For those who aren't following along in the main thread, this is a mock draft run by TSW board members each running a different team.  The Bills pick will be selected by this poll.  This is a no-trade mock, so trading back is not an option.

I am going to remove the bottom vote getters at 3p and 7p.  If you have already voted before those times and your player was eliminated, please vote again.  The top 3 players will then go from 7p until 9a tomorrow, when the Bills will make their pick.

KC Concepcion, WR is not included in this poll because he was selected in the 1.0 poll.  Based on that, we know that is the Stadium Wall's first preference.  This is to see what our second preference would be.

I went Cooper, mostly because I'm sure that's where the board will go.

I'd like to go with one of the DTs/DBs, but dont know enough about them to choose which one.

Fine trading back too

It’s McNeil Warren or trade back for me. He’s the best FS in the class and would fit with Bishop seamlessly to form a young ascending duo of safeties .

To me with who’s on the board it’s on McNeil Warren and Chris Johnson as first round talents available

Although I absolutely love the upside of Banks

Why is trade back an option?  This draft sucks, teams dont want to move up.  Dont give me that Ty Simpson crap either.  If teams value him, he will be gone long before 26.  If he isn't picked before 26, teams will just let him fall to them.

I kind of agree on Ty Simpson. I’ve said he’s more likely to go in round 3 than round 1. We will see I guess.

The theory in trading back, in this crappy draft, is that you can get 2 swings instead of 1. These prospects are flawed and will be overdrafted. If you got a shot at Lee Hunter AND Jacob Rodriguez instead of Kayden McDonald OR CJ Allen, it may make sense. I’m not saying that’s the right answer but that feels like the reasoning.

I voted trade back, but I really like Denzel Boston. Which means if he gets picked by the Bills he will be terrible. If he gets picked elsewhere he will turn into Mike Evans lite.

Trade back makes sense though because there is a clump of players here you can justify taking.

The current trade offer to the Bills would be:

Buffalo trade #26 (700) to the Las Vegas Raiders for #36 (540), #102 (92), #117 (60), and #208 (8)

Ha same trade I made in my fun mock. Different capital because I use the Rich Hill chart but LV makes a lot of sense especially if Cooper is still there

Almost like the Raiders want to pair Mendoza with Cooper....

Every team wants to trade back, no one wants to move up.  Which is why I don't understand why its an option in the poll.  Its not realistic.

I personally think this would be the year to move up from 26 and target a WR that may fall to 20 range. The price should be pretty cheap.

It's a mock draft. It doesn't really matter. Mock drafts are never realistic or anywhere close to what actually happens.

And if the Bills wanted to trade up, like you are suggesting, why wouldn't another team want to do the same and trade up to 26? If it means the compensation might be a little less than other drafts, that's fine. There will still be teams willing to go up and grab specific players they like.
