Coach Tuesday Posted April 13 Posted April 13 lol had the same thought. He’s perfect for them. Or the Bengals. Quote

All jokes aside, he probably in for a small slide. But this is exactly the type player the Eagles take a chance in and end up seeing a ton of benefits from. 2 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Some people were already speculating he was dropping out of the top 10 before this came out. This doesn’t help but media is saying personnel are saying this won’t affect him too much . Quote
JP51 Posted April 13 Posted April 13 I would bet a paycheck that guy ends up there... absolutely a perfect fit for them... in fact... if they ever want another remake of the longest yard, they could just use the chiefs as the convicts... 1 Quote

Maybe if the Eagles are lucky, he can get someone else killed before the drat and slide even further. More “beneficial”. Quote
MJS Posted April 13 Posted April 13 I think the Chiefs will be strongly considering him regardless of the off the field stuff. Quote
Dirk Diggler Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Apparently there is another past incident about Bain that hasn't dropped yet. 1 Quote
PonyBoy Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Not to be that guy, I know this about humor & the Chiefs character flaws. Let's remember though a person lost their life & family and friends are left behind. Good thoughts and recovery wishes for them in all of this. 1 1 Quote

Bain is not falling down draft charts. It screams that NFL simply doesn’t care. It’s sad. The Chiefs do seem to have a thing for drivers that endanger lives. Reid’s son and Rice being prominent. Why not Bain? Quote
YoloinOhio Posted April 14 Posted April 14 every year like 2 weeks before the draft the NFL is like oh by the way this guy might have killed someone, but don’t worry everyone already knows 1 2 Quote
DapperCam Posted April 14 Posted April 14 From what I’ve read it seems like just a regular car accident and unfortunately the passenger wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. He wasn’t under the influence and he wasn’t speeding. He got a citation at the scene but it got dropped a couple weeks later. 1 Quote

I get its kinda fishy, but the family wanted it left alone. He was hit with a traffic charge that was dropped. Obv its The U and something could be foul, but we dont have anything that says it is. Could be a genuine tragedy. I crucified Ruggs, and Bain can get it too if this turns out to be scummy. I havent heard a single thing about character concerns AT ALL. Maybe Miami hid it... but im not gunna roast the kid when anything in the world coulda happened. Everything Ive seen/heard has been pretty clean cut Quote
machine gun kelly Posted April 14 Posted April 14 What doesn't make sense, and I’m not making fun of it, that the person was not wearing a seatbelt. I can’t remember getting into a car these days and not have that annoying beeping because you’re not buckled up. That little safety feature of the beeping has done more for people buckling up, and any public safety announcement. Im sorry for the loss of life, but Bain is dropping in his stock more from the short arms than any other reason. Quote
nosejob Posted April 14 Posted April 14 IDK, I just get the Shaq Lawson vibe with him, talent wise. Kinda glad we're not in that conversation as far as him being possible. 1 Quote

Stuff always comes out around now and then it’s up to the teams to decide if it’s relevant or not. The Falcons choose to overlook Pierce’s off field indiscretions. It appears they may have been more relevant than it appeared on draft night. Quote
chris heff Posted April 14 Posted April 14 I don’t know anything about Bain, other than his name being thrown around as a high pick. Is it just me or does this article say nothing? Apparently officers on the scene felt no need for sobriety test, He was given a ticket, then charges were dropped. Was he speeding? What about the other vehicle involved? It is tragic that a young woman lost her life. Quote
Rigotz Posted April 14 Posted April 14 1. Very funny thread title - it made me chuckle. 2. Be careful making fun of the guy/situation. Apart from it being a horrible situation, Bain is due to drop and a short armed, but highly productive Edge would be perfect for Leonard's defense. Fits a big need. We would be excited to get him.
