With the 4th pick of the 2026 Virgil Mock Draft the Tennessee Titans select David Bailey, EDGE, Texas Tech. @BigdaddyinOrlando is on the clock

 

Having fully planned to take Styles here, we instead take the premium position player. Bailey is one of the most disruptive pass rushers in the class, with burst and physicality that should translate to the NFL. A potential cornerstone off the edge and someone offenses will have to game plan around from day one.

 

What we are not going to do is be suckered into taking an RB in the Top 5, that is just bad business, look how little Jeanty did for LV last year. We are not in a position to be making luxury picks right now.

 

Offensive line and wide receiver were also in the conversation, but there was no slam dunk WR we felt comfortable with and we need IOL more than tackle - the prices for both positions look better at the top of the second.

With the 5th pick in the TSW draft the Jersey Giants select: Wr Carnell Tate Ohio St. was targeting one of the two Lbs but they were not there so we shifted and are getting Jaxon Dart another weapon to go opposite Nabers.

With the 6th pick in the TSW draft #2 the Cleveland Browns select Caleb Downs, S, Ohio St

 

Downs plays the Safety position the way it was designed to be played in the modern NFL with versatility, intelligence and an ability to handle any assignment a DC can throw at him, teaming him up with Grant Delpit on the back end of our Defense should help us dominate that side of the ball.

The Washington Commanders select Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame.

 

GM - Only having one pick in the first two rounds made this a tough choice for us.  We need WR, Edge, and overall offensive playmaker support.  With that, the grading on the available receivers were all pretty much the same and had grades of lower 1st round picks, not top 10.  Between the depth at WR in the later rounds and vets still available in FA, we feel like we have just a good a chance grabbing someone later as we do picking a bust at WR now.

 

We also could use pass rush help, but held off on Bain Jr, due to potential character concerns and again, a grade not worthy of a top 10 pick.  

 

With all of that being said, Love has a clear first round grade to us, gives us a much needed offensive weapon to support Daniels, and can really help change the dynamics of this offense.

Sometimes when we do these “trade drafts” trades are everywhere. I kind of like that teams are reluctant to part with assets at this point.

With the 7th pick in the TSW V2 Mock draft the New Orleans Saints stay chalk and take their top-rated Corner Back, that is Mansoor Delane, CB LSU.  

The Saints rebuild is a bit ahead of schedule and NO views this CB as an instant starter and a top guy in the League before long.

Agreed.  Especially when so many of these guys have similar grades.  It's hard to justify jumping up for any of them.

Meeting on Monday suck, I used to block my calendar sometimes so nobody would think I had open time time to meet

The Chiefs and Bengals have swapped the 9th pick and the 10th pick, with the Bengals 4th round pick also going to KC.

With the departure of Trey Hendrickson and a chronically poor defense, the Bengals desperately need to improve on that side of the ball. The trade up ensures that the Bengals get the top defensive prospect still on the board instead of him going to the Chiefs, who also have defensive needs.

With the 10th pick, the KC Chiefs select Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State.

 

We’d be working on multiple trade downs but Brett Veach loves Bills Mafia and doesn’t want to hold up the draft while also limiting the stress on @Virgil

Tyson is the top ranked player left on the board and just so happens to be at a position of need.  Tyson can do it all in terms of route runnings, has great hands and is adept at gaining separation.  We’ve been an extremely lucky team over the past 6 seasons and we hope that our luck will continue with Tyson having a healthy career

With the 11th pick, the Miami Dolphins select Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami

 

GM - While we have starters penciled in at both Tackle positions, we have gaps on the interior.  We believe that we have guys we can move around and Francis gives us someone that can start day 1 on the outside.  Francis is only player left that we view with a true first round grade, and we are in the middle of a rebuild.  We know we need to build our trenches on both sides of the ball, and Francis was by far the standout player available at 11 to do so.
