Virgil Posted April 11 Posted April 11 (edited) Hi Everyone and a welcome to the TSW Mock Draft 2.0 sign-up thread. Not many changes to the format this year, but the rules and expectations are as follows: Mock 2.0 is 2 rounds and with trades. Future mocks will have different rules. 3.0 will also have trades and be one round starting on the week of the actual draft. The Bills selection will be done by a survey of the BPA’s at the time. The draft will begin on April 12th at 7p Please vote in the poll attached to this thread, as many have stated they are interested in trading up or back in some capacity. As of now, as these mocks are meant to be both fun as well as create a perspective of how we’d feel about certain scenarios, there’s an idea of having the Bills trade a 2nd and their 1st to move up in 2.0. In TSW 3.0, the Bills may trade their 1st and both 2nds to move up as well. Will these trades really happen, who knows? But part of the point of these is to see what it would look like. *If the Bills trade up, the trade will be run by Virgil and other select owners. The draft pick itself will be made by a Poll. Owners - To volunteer to serve as a team GM, you need to: · Be in good standing on this site (daily activity, account history, etc) · Reply in this thread with the top 3 teams you want to manage (only listing one will be ignored) · Be prepared to keep up with your picks (3 hour window between picks) · Be prepared to follow the posting guidelines when it’s your pick (failure to do so might lead to your exclusion to participating in future mocks) Resources: ESPN Team Needs NFL.Com Team Needs ESPN Draft Prospect Rankings CBS Draft Prospect Rankings Trade Chart Rules: · Every owner has 3 hours to make their pick · GM’s cannot control the same team in different mock drafts · Trades must match the trade value chart linked above at a min · No players can be traded (We have allowed trades in prior years for players that were for certain on the trade block, but that does not seem to be the case this year. No, we are not going to allow a James Cook trade unless something comes out that he’s on the block) · When you pick, you must use the following format · With the 26th pick, the Buffalo Bills select Josh Allen, QB, Wyoming @Virgil is on the clock. (Commas and caps make my life easier when updating the page) · When you pick, please give a few sentence summary as to why you made the pick you did. The more commentary and ownership, the better the experience. · Draft hours are from 9am-10pm EST. If your pick comes up at 9p, you have until 10a the next morning. Trade Rules: Once a trade has been worked out by both teams, a DM with both owners must be sent to Virgil for approval. Within that DM: -Both GMs must acknowledge the trade -The trade chart totals must be met a minimum for both teams. -The trade is then posted by the GM who is picking next, including the outline of the trade and the points exchanged -The entire process must take place within the 3 hour pick window. You do not get a fresh clock. ***if you are looking for trade offers, please do not wait until your trade window opens. Get ahead of this. Missed Picks: If you miss your pick, you will be given one more chance. However, you only have one hour to make your next selection when it is due. If you miss that window, you forfeit your GM duties for the remainder of this draft and will not be eligible for 3.0 Round 1 1 - Las Vegas Raiders - Fernando Mendoza QB Indiana 2 - New York Jets - Arvel Reese, LB, The Ohio St 3 - Arizona Cardinals - Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio St 4 - Tennessee Titans - David Bailey, Edge, Texas Tech 5 - New York Giants - Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio St 6 - Cleveland Browns - Caleb Downs, S, Ohio St 7 - Washington Commanders - Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame 8 - New Orleans Saints - Mansoor Delane, CB LSU 9 - Kansas City Chiefs *Trade* Bengals - Rueben Bain Jr, Edge, Miami 10 - Cincinnati Bengals *Trade* Chiefs - Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona St 11 - Miami Dolphins - Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami 12 - Dallas Cowboys - Jermod McCoy, DB, Tennessee 13 - Los Angeles Rams - Makai Lemon, WR USC 14 - Baltimore Ravens - Keldric Faulk, Edge, Auburn 15 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers - TJ Parker, Edge, Clemson 16 - New York Jets - Ty Simpson, QB, Alabama 17 - Detroit Lions - Spencer Fano, OT, Utah 18 - Minnesota Vikings - Dillon Thieneman, S, Oregon 19 - Carolina Panthers - Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon 20 - Dallas Cowboys - Kayden McDonald, DT, Ohio St 21 - Pittsburgh Steelers - Monroe Freeling, OT, Georgia 22 - Los Angeles Chargers - Olaivavega Loane, G, PSU 23 - Philadelphia Eagles - Kadyn Proctor, OT, Alabama 24 - Cleveland Browns - Avieon Terrell, DB, Clemson 25 - Chicago Bears - Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah 26 - Buffalo Bills *Trade* Raiders - Omar Cooper, WR, Indiana 27 - San Francisco 49ers - Denzel Boston, WR, Washington 28 - Houston Texans - Peter Woods, DT, Clemson 29 - Kansas City Chiefs - Akheem Mesidor, Edge, Miami 30 - Miami Dolphins - Colton Hood, DB, Tennessee 31 - New England Patriots - KC Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M 32 - Seattle Seahawks - Chris Johnson, DB, San Diego St Round 2 33 - New York Jets - Chris Bell , WR, Louisville 34 - Arizona Cardinals - Blake Miller, OT, Clemson 35 - Tennessee Titans - Chase Bisontis, G, Texas A&M 36 - Las Vegas Raiders *Trade* Bills - CJ Allen, LB, Georgia 37 - New York Giants - Caleb Banks, DL, Florida 38 - Houston Texans - Emmanuel Pregnon, G, Oregon 39 - Cleveland Browns - Max Iheanachor, OT, Arizona St 40 - Kansas City Chiefs - McNeil-Warren, S, Toledo 41 - Cincinnati Bengals - Brandon Cisse, DB, South Carolina 42 - New Orleans Saints - Germie Bernard, WR, Alabama 43 - Miami Dolphins - A.J. Virgil Posted April 11 Author Posted April 11 11 minutes ago, DJB said: Impossible to answer the OP question without knowing who is on the board I get that. There’s really no good way to do it. The poll will also stay open throughout the draft until the Bills pick. So if a player falls and the poll adjusts to a trade up, then we can move 1 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted April 11 Posted April 11 I wish I could partake but this week is super busy for me. Doing camping prep. But I would (and did) vote for the Bills to trade back. As weak as this class is I'm not a fan of spending more to move up. Especially any picks in 2027. But a nice trade down? Ok, that I'm cool with. 3 Quote
DallasMac Posted April 12 Posted April 12 I know you said listing one will get ignored but im happy to fill in for any teams that aren't selected. 1 1 Quote
