Trader Lou Saban, Mad Bomber Daryl Lamonica and game-changing PK Pete Gogolak were gone as the 3 time AFL East Champions attempted a 4-peat. What would become an omen for decades to come, injuries riddled the ‘67 team and the decline from greatness began. Former San Diego enemy Keith Lincoln joined the team and showed little slowdown. Our Defense was still outstanding but age and injury began taking its toll.

Notable is the clarity and vibrance from this nearly 50 year old movie!

Enjoy!

For some reason, the opener vs the Jets really sticks out with me. My cousin & I were playing football at our grandmother's house while listening to the game on WBEN. She made both of us Bills jerseys and we had white helmets with the standing red buffalo’s. We looked so cool! 🤣 That the Bills came all the way back to win on a last second FG gave excitement it would be another championship season!….

Monte Ledbetter came to our football team practice (the NT 49ers) to talk with the team during the season. That convinced me I was gonna be a pro football player!

🤣🤦‍♂️

Check you math. It's almost 60 years ago. Probably shot with 16mm.

It's possible I was at that home game vs the Jets. I know I was at a Bills home game against the Jets in '67, '68. or '69.  Maybe my first Bills' game. 4th row at the Rockpile, directly behind the visitor's bench where Namath was sitting about 15-20 ft in front of us.

wow a 51 yard FG - longest in Bills history

Hard to remeber a time, not too long ago, when anything over 45 yards was considered low probability...
