Guy had a half sack last year in 17 games.  You're right - that does sound like recent Bills D-line type of production.

Consider you'd be breaking the bank and trading assets for a 0.5 sack guy and get to enjoy one calendar year of him in his 20s.

Then consider that we are being told that it isn't that he's "not a choir boy", but that he is seemingly a very very bad or troubled man.

If we're cool with all that, then yes, lets swing a deal!

Im not the gung ho offer the farm for him dude.... but holy *** "a .5 sack guy" is thedefinition of losing the plot.  2x All-Pro. The team got a new D coordinator last year.

Dude had a 10 sack season in only 12 games the year before.

Before that hes averaged 7 sacks and 65 pressures a season lol

Agreed, last night I kicked this girl outta my bed, I said "Be gone you toe thumbed ferel beast-woman!!".  She said her names Megan Fox or something, but either way yuckyyyy. And get this, I know a guy from a message board who said shes not an astrophysicist.

There's got to be more interest than that unless hes ballooned to 400lbs, or has a garbage medical.  If were just talking about a pick for player, Im sending pick #25 100 out of 100 times.

The money complicates things, and may remove us from contention, but theres got to be 31 other teams that'd part with late 1st/early 2nd pick value for this kid.

The whole "hes almost 30" thing is so over blown.  Guys in the trenches, oddly enough, hold up longer than the skills positions and defensive secondaries.  You just gotta watch out that they don't eat their way off the field

65 QB knock downs for his career.  Not in a season.

He averages 22 pressures a season.

Bills spoke to NYG early on in free agency about Sexy Dexy. So there is some smoke there. But I doubt Harbaugh and Shoen move him. It would take our first, Oliver and maybe more.

This is a Myles Garret move by Dexy. He gets his NYG big deal 100%

This was not reported anywhere

I exaggerated a bit, but heres his two All-Pro seasons.... 2024 in 12 games had 10 sacks, 36 pressures. Admittedly, last year wasnt a great year for him

Jags have no 1st and the other 2 teams are in the NFC. It’ll be tough to make the numbers work. Clearly the Bills think that they can if they’re calling.

I offer 26, 91 and Oliver for Lawrence and 37

No way. Nope. No.

$34M dead cap this year or (I believe) $11M this year and $23M dead caps as a post June 1st trade to get a declining player, have less ammo for this year AND pay what will likely be a hefty new contract? Let one of the other clown teams make this mistake.

Weird.  Either way hes f'n disruptiveeee.  Probably demotivated last year with the ongoing contract, another new Coach, both DC in off-season, and HC in-season.  I'm not excusing it, just saying he'd have something to play for here, and in a fun system for players

He's a great football player.  I just think between the trade draft capital and him going to want an extension (probably 3 years $100M), it will

be too expensive for the Bills.  We can dream though.

Okay remove Oliver from the deal since it apparently doesn’t help the cap

does Dion get restructured to create space?
If we randomly restructure someone at this point with around 13 mil currently then that would be fun

1st this year & 2nd next year?

Walker Dexter Oliver would a super interesting line combo

This would be a scary D-Line if Beane could pull this off.

DE - Ed Oliver

NT - Dexter Lawrence

DE - Deone Walker

Used to be dominant but probably a better fit in mcdermott’s defense.  I’d be more interested in thibodeaux.  We need more edge rushers.

we need a massive starting impact DT far more than we need a starting Edge now IMO

Oliver is always hurt and if Walker goes down the position goes off a cliff.

Ed Oliver and a 3rd???

he won’t be traded after this I wouldn’t think

besides, acquiring Dex to pair with Walker next to him could make Oliver borderline all pro IF IF IF he can stay on the field
