It's time for our first TSW Mock Draft Poll.

For those who aren't following along in the main thread, this is a mock draft run by TSW board members each running a different team.  The Bills pick will be selected by this poll.  This is a no-trade mock, so trading back is not an option.

I am going to remove the bottom vote getters at 4p and 7p.  If you have already voted before those times and your player was eliminated, please vote again.  The top 3 players will then go from 7p until 9a tomorrow, when the Bills will make their pick.

I'm only seeing two names on the list.

Yeah, I tried to tab to the next section and it posted it early.  It's updated now

Delane was picked by the Jets

I was wondering why he was still available.  I even searched the OG thread by his name and still missed it

I was afraid WR was going to run away with this.   I just can’t support spending out first two picks on a WR, especially when it’s going to be your number two guy.  For Concepcion’s value, who didn’t even break 1k yards last season, I just don’t see the first round value.  There’s plenty of guys in rounds 3 and 4 who have just as good a chance to produce.

Allen is my choice, but I would have supported DT or S if there were strong options available too.

I want a difference maker on defense.  Someone that can lay a hit and set the tone.  And I’m done with Edge in the first round.  We are paying Groot, Hoect, and Chubb. That’s the bed we’ve made.  To add a 4th with a first round pick gives me too much McD PTSD.

I listen to Joe Marino, do not follow college ball,  nor am I a scout.

Run to the podium and select KC Conception

I like it was are taking a guy with the name KC as we take over the AFC

If he's BPA and the tape looks good to the eyes of everyone that puts time into this, let's get Josh another weapon

KC Conception please. Even random NFL podcasts with people who have a broad knowledge of the game and league are begging for him to go to the Bills. Its just a match made in heaven. Which means of course it won't happen.

Omar Cooper is the best WR on the board and a legitimate first round selection. The top of the WR room is thin. Cooper addresses that and insulates the team from a single injury creating a disastrous vacuum.

5’11” and used in the slot or gadget.  Is capable of playing the outside, but is more of a YAC player.

Isn’t this basically Shakir?

Sorry, but I just don’t get it

I was all defense leading into this offseason besides hopefully bringing back McCovern and adding any type of receiver who is above. avg.

More I think about it the more I just ant a wagon on offense the likes of which the NFL has never seen. Think the 2024 Lions but Allen instead of Goff.

Allen with a top 10 OL, James Cook, Kincaid and Knox along with Conception, DJ Moore, and Shakir. I get feelings thinking about that offense. I just struggle with idea that anyone you take at 26 besides CJ Allen is going to be a 3 down starter difference maker for the Bills. Any Edge, Safety, DT at 26 is going to be most likely sitting behind someone. A NT plug, and pure bend and speed edge can be found later but there is only one Conception.

The same thinking made us whiff on Ladd McKonkey. I say pick the player that stands out to you the most. For me, that's KC, on this list. I like Caleb Banks, too, but I feel like he has a lower floor.

I voted Anthony Hill. I know he has no chance of winning this poll. I try to be predictive when I make these picks rather than selecting my own preference. I personally would take a WR, to me Cooper is a no brainer here, but I still don't fully buy that Beane will spend two high picks on a WR in the same offseason. So looking at the other names I considered McNeil-Warren but Beane takes needs in the 1st round and after signing CJGJ I don't think he is looking at safety as a need.

That leaves the LBs, Allen or Hill. For the longest time I've been looking at Allen as the odds-on favorite to be our pick. But in the last few days I have begun to suspect Hill is the type of LB Beane would covet in the 1st round. He's young having just turned 21 years old in February (cue up the Tremaine Edmunds jokes), he's a ridiculous athlete with a 9.81 RAS score and elite speed/explosion testing, and I think he fits Leonhard's scheme as a downhill thumper type with high end blitz traits while still having enough to work with in pass coverage. It's a similar scouting profile to CJ Allen just in the body of a better athlete and without the lingering injury concern. It's not a player that has been talked about much as a Bills 1st round target but I just have a weird feeling about him.

I want the best possible front 7 player left on the board. Don't care if he’s a DE, DT, or a LB.  If there’s no one of value there, I’m 100% for a trade down to accumulate more picks.
