YoloinOhio Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Collinsworth sold it and laid off all the talent… sounds like the data will still be out there but they won’t have anyone to explain to us why Duck Hodges is better than Josh Allen great listen, actually 1 4 2 Quote

daz28 Posted April 2 Posted April 2 It sounds like a good thing. The world needs more of just the data/facts, and less of what someone's opinion of what it means. 1 Quote
Ayjent Posted April 2 Posted April 2 (edited) Pfffffff.... like an balloon running out of air or a SBD toot. I guess the company with a name like that was inevitably going to end that way. Let me guess the Collinsworth's andd private equity cashed in their chips bc they could not bc they had to. Edited April 2 by Ayjent Quote

BillsShredder83 Posted April 2 Posted April 2 (edited) Very flawed but useful tool IMO. Let me get this outta the way.... I HATE COLLINSWORTH MORE THAN YOU..... I freaking love all the guys associated with the draft side of things, super fun/thoughtful bunch for the most part. It's awesome to have a way to try and quantify information that isn't binary - YES/NO. It's a tool. A hammer is a tool, one of many but maybe the single most essential, useful and standard tools a man can have. Now a hammer, is an awful tool to help a Doctor - sayyyy - deliver a baby. TL:DR Science says that Hammers cant deliver babies... and if youre exclusively using PFF, instead of WATCHING a team or player, to decide if they are good/bad, you're going to HATE the tool. Use in moderation, in correct context Side note: Would be awesome, if they took this opportunity to double down on the actual product. Finding ways to define a million little actions into digestable numbers. Increasing transparency. Have set boundries on the +/- 2 system. Edited April 2 by BillsShredder83 1 1 Quote
Ralonzo Posted April 2 Posted April 2 A source should tell FOS that the first thing people think of seeing that acronym is not "Front Office Sports" Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted April 2 Posted April 2 So now who are posters going quote as gospel when they say something they like, then flame endlessly when they say something they don't like? Quote

Don Otreply Posted April 2 Posted April 2 So we aren’t going ding QBs for passes that “could have been intercepted, but weren’t “ any more…, I am profoundly saddened that this has come to pass…, (sarcasm included) Quote
