Virgil Posted Thursday at 01:24 AM Author Posted Thursday at 01:24 AM @MrEpsYtown You want to make the pick for the Texans too? He’s got about 30 min left. If he doesn’t pick, you can do both so we can move along. If not, I’ll make it 1 Quote

MrEpsYtown Posted Thursday at 02:18 AM Posted Thursday at 02:18 AM (edited) With the 60th pick in the 2026 TSW mock draft 1.0 the Chicago Bears select Chris Brazzell II, WR Tennessee After going defense with the first two pick the Bears decide to use the pick they got for DJ Moore to take a flyer on a big fast receiver in Brazzell. Losing Moore took away the deep speed part of the offense and Brazzell gives you that. Odunze outside with Burden in the slot and Loveland working the middle as well, Brazzell is going to give them that deep speed threat. They also have Khalif Raymond, but the upside here is big. There is some bust potential here, but a guy with these traits coming in and being the 4th option in the passing game lands him in a situation where he could really succeed. Maybe it’s a bit high, I don’t know, but the size and speed is too enticing here in the back end of the second. Looking for a matchup player who could put other teams in a bind led me to Brazzell. The Bears are trying to surround their young QB with as many weapons as possible. @HappyDays and the Rams are on the clock. @Virgil Edited Thursday at 02:19 AM by MrEpsYtown 2 1 Quote
HappyDays Posted Thursday at 02:24 AM Posted Thursday at 02:24 AM With the 61st pick, the Rams select Jake Golday, LB, Cincinnati. Ty Simpson was given real consideration to develop behind Stafford but Les Snead is always making moves to win now and worry about the future in the future. Off ball LB is probably the weakest overall position group on our roster so need perfectly matches player value here. Golday has rare size and speed. His exact role in an NFL defense remains TBD but Chris Shula runs a diverse scheme and getting a chess piece like Golday only adds to the versatility. Denver @MJS is on the clock. 2 1 Quote

MJS Posted Thursday at 02:28 AM Posted Thursday at 02:28 AM With the 62nd pick, the Denver Broncos select LB Josiah Trotter. Reason: The Broncos could use LB after the release of Dre Greenlaw. I wanted Jake Golday but HappyDays broke my heart. 3 1 Quote
Might Rather Posted Thursday at 02:30 AM Posted Thursday at 02:30 AM The Houston Texans select Zxavion Harris,DT, Ole Miss We get a versatile interior defender with mismatch traits and untapped potential. Harris can play 3-,4- and 5-techniques but his best fit might be nose tackle. @MrEpsYtown Bears are on the clock 2 Quote

I still have no idea what exactly he will do in the NFL but some creative DC will find a role to unleash his elite athletic traits. I think his ideal fit will be as a WILL in a blitz heavy scheme. Rams did not blitz much last year at all, they were actually 2nd last in blitz rate, but Les Snead said earlier in the offseason that improving the defense is as much about the system as it is about the players. He followed up that comment by signing both of KC's CBs. That signals to me a change to a more aggressive style of defense is coming. Golday could be a good foundational piece for that change. 1 Quote

Houston wants to add another pass rusher to get after the QB. Dennis Sutton is big, long, and very athletic. Base 4-3 ends are hard to come by in this draft, so maybe it’s a bit of a reach, but this is a piece of clay who could be every good in DeMeco Ryans’ scheme. Long and explosive, just the way they like them in Houston. I'm going to change the pick to Zxavion Harris,DT, Ole Miss since no one else took him after. @MrEpsYtown, thank you for stepping up 1 1 Quote

But he would have made sense for them. 1 Quote

Richard Noggin Posted Thursday at 03:58 AM Posted Thursday at 03:58 AM I intend to make the Patriots pick still, by the way. Will do so before signing off this evening. Quote
Richard Noggin Posted Thursday at 04:33 AM Posted Thursday at 04:33 AM With the 63rd selection, the New England Patriots pick Elijah Sarratt, WR, Indiana. Forget his lack of underwear olympics testing. Sarratt is a better WR prospect than you think; a prototype X. And Drake Maye, with his upright, over-the-top, rainbow trajectory arm talent absolutely EATS on those sideline bucket and back shoulder throws. Perfect match playing shot football. Mack Hollins but more talented and MUCH younger. They already have Doubs, Douglas, and Williams to be shifty, separation guys from the Z and Slot. Need this final X piece. The Seattle Seahawks and @K-No are up next to close out the second round. 2 1 Quote
K-No Posted Thursday at 07:01 AM Posted Thursday at 07:01 AM Seattle takes RB Jadarian Price, Notre Dame. Walker III as MVP shows how important RB is to our system and success. Excited to get Price with last pick in 2nd round. 3 Quote
