Reiger was just off the bottom of my top 15 that I posted so I can see the argument there too. And if someone wanted to add him to the poll for #91 would certainly make sense.

The other thing that always happens a bit in these (inevitably) is people spend a lot of time looking at prospects in the Bills' positions of need so when we then come to one of these exercises those positions go early and often because people are familiar with those prospects. I think the board might have slightly overdrafted DT compared to how I think it will go in the actual draft... I think 2 or 3 of the guys who have gone may well still be here at that position.... but actually a world where all the true ILBs have gone, the remaining receiver choices are something like Branch, Lance and Lane and the edge options are something like Reiger and Barham is very believable to me.

Where do you have the other Centers? I think you’re accurate there when it comes to fans and needs. I think Lew, Slaughter, and Jones all go round 3 and all 3 of them are on the board still either as a convert to guard or moving McGovern back to guard when ready

Lew is 18th, Slaughter 25th of what's remaining by my board. Jones I haven't watched yet - I have a list of about a dozen guys I still hope to get to at various positions before the draft and he is one of those.

With the 87th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select:

Devin Moore, CB, Florida

Moore is 6'3" and 200lbs. He faced the best competition in college football in the SEC week in and week out. LSU, Miami, Texas, Texas A&M, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Tennessee. With that size comes length to help shut down opposing receivers. He has adequate, but not great speed. What Moore's best traits are is his foot speed, fluidity, and agility. He also tracks the ball well in the air and isn't shy about throwing his pads around against the run. We like the fact we were able to get him in this spot because he'll match up well with our scheme.

@Virgil and the soon to be Orlando Jags are on the clock. Orrrrrrland!!!

I had one queued up, just had to run out for a bit.

He went at #80

With the 87th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select:

Billy Schrauth, G, Notre Dame

You knew the homer pick was coming at some point.  Schrauth has been opening lanes for Love and Price the last two seasons. He is a well built Guard prospect with a high IQ (I mean what do you expect? He went to ND, not Michigan or anywhere like that. Ziiiingooooo!!!) He has excellent strength and functional movement to seal off in the middle. We like him here in this spot.

NOW, @Virgil and the soon to be Orlando Jags are on the clock  Orrrrland!!!!

I think Keionte Scott fits our new aggressive defense but I doubt the board votes for a CB, even a slot. Also highly doubt he makes it to our pick in the real draft in any case.

If Scott wasn't there my pick would be Barham. He has elite athletic traits and an elite motor, but needs a lot of technical work. I'll always bet on uncoachable traits with coachable weaknesses. To me he's the ideal of the type of front 7 player we should be looking for in this draft - bendy, explosive, capable of playing the field OLB in Leonhard's defense. With Barham it's more of a projection but I think the upside is worth the swing at this point, especially considering how underwhelming the other options are.

He’s getting my vote if he’s there.

The Jacksonville Jaguars select Dontay Corleone, DT, Cincinnati.

GM - We have a true interior DL need, gives us a 2nd rookie in the trenches, helps with our run defense as well as creating an inside pass rush, and really sets our defensive tone focus going forward.

DUVALL!!!!  (Dumbest chant ever)

The Bears @MrEpsYtown are on the clock

With the 89th pick in the 2026 TSW mock draft 1.0 the Chicago Bears select Jalon Kilgore, Safety, South Carolina

If the Bears played a game today, Cam Lewis would be starting at safety next to Coby Bryant. Kilgore fills that hole but can also play some nickel. Kilgore is big with great length and big time athleticism. He is young and just turned 21.  He is a chess piece for the defense who can play some nickel and in the box, but could also play in 2 high looks. He’d be a great fit next to Bryant who is rangy and can play in single high looks. He also takes the ball away and has a bunch of PBUs with those long arms. I love watching him. He is big, fast, long, and explosive.

The Bears come away with An immediate starter in Woods, an edge piece in Jacas, an explosive WR for Ben Johnson in Brazzell and finish up this draft with an immediate starter at safety with Kilgore. I liked Scott here too, but Kilgore is bigger and almost 4 years younger so I went with the upside.

@H2o and the Fish are on the clock.

With the 90th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select:

Tacario Davis, CB, Washington

We tried to get Devin Moore, not realizing he was already taken at #80 by the Ravens.  Davis profiles about the same physically at 6'4" and 194lbs with almost 34" arms.  However, has even better long speed, turning in a 4.41 at the Combine. The athleticism is there to run in press man or zone. He turned in a really solid season at Washington this past year, only allowing a 50.6 passer rating when targeted.

With the 92nd pick, the Dallas Cowboys select Zachariah Branch, WR, Univ of Georgia.

The Cowboys add the top slot receiver in the draft (although we don’t view him as slot only).  We want a cost-controlled option at WR in case our George Pickens gamble doesn’t pay off.  Branch is 5’9” and 177 lbs, but he put up 20 bench press reps and he plays much bigger.  Branch is an absolute DOG, and is a guy other defenses will always have to account for.  He is also an elite punt returner and can relieve some of the pressure on Kavonte Turpin, who is 29 and susceptible to injury.

The LA Rams and @HappyDays are on the clock.

If a slam dunk defensive starter is there at 26 that’s the pick.

Not the 5th or 6th WR on our board.

Too many holes to fill on defense.

I’ve run some mocks where McDonald is there and I’m running to the podium.

Just looking at how this mock played out - and then another decent - high upside guy there in round 3, I’d do that as well then look at WR that could be something mid round.

With the 93rd pick, the Rams select Bryce Lance, WR, North Dakota State.

WR is a sneaky need with Davante Adams and Puka Nacua both in the last year of their deals, and Puka seemingly going down the Antonio Brown career path makes it less likely he will be here for the long term. Behind those two the room is completely bare, so getting a WR in the top 100 picks was a priority coming into the draft.

Bryce Lance profiles as a true vertical threat. A ridiculous size and speed combination, excellent ball tracking, sticky hands. The concerns lie with his age (will be 24 in August) and making the jump from North Dakota State to the NFL. He also needs to refine his route running and not rely so much on his pure physical gifts, but Sean McVay will have ways of scheming him open on deep shots. For a team that once paid Tutu Atwell $10M to play that role, getting a much more physically gifted player on a rookie contract to play that role is a win.

High upside with elite athletic traits is the theme of our draft class. Sadiq, Golday, and Lance posted RAS scores of 9.52, 9.85, and 9.95 respectively. While that wasn't necessarily intentional, the NFCW is filled with athletic freaks (and the Cardinals are there too) and we've stepped up our ability to match up with them.

Miami @H2o is on the clock.

Hopefully Sonny Styles. I’ve got him at 20:1 to be the 3rd pick. There are rumors out there that the Cardinals are potentially interested.

Styles is the best player in this draft IMO

He’s an insane athlete.

I heard some guy on the radio the other day talking about the Cardinals and Styles. Apparently they really like him and may pull the trigger. There are also rumors of Dallas coming up to 3 for whichever pass rusher doesn’t go 2. At 20:1 it felt worthy of a few bucks. 🤷🏻‍♂️

If I had to wager money on who the best player in this draft is 5 years down the road, it would be him.
