Virgil Posted April 9 Author Posted April 9 (edited) The Cleveland Browns select Sam Hecht, C, Kansas State GM - Hecht gives Cleveland a long-term answer inside, protects whoever ends up being the QB, allows flexibility at guard/center, helps stabilize the run game, and classic Andrew Berry “value in the trenches” move. The Washington Commanders select Keith Abney II, DB, Arizona State GM - Strong fit for the field corner role in the pattern matched base coverages that will be brought to Washington this year. The Bengals @Bill from NYC are on the clock 72 - Cincinnati Bengals - @Bill from NYC 73 - New Orleans Saints - @GunnerBill 74 - Kansas City Chiefs - @Kirby Jackson 75 - Miami Dolphins - @H2o 76 - Pittsburgh Steelers - @RyanC883 Edited April 9 by Virgil 1 Quote
Bill from NYC Posted April 9 Posted April 9 The Bengals select Parker Brailsford - Center - Alabama Crimson Tide (where else lol?) With the earlier choices the Bengals added a pass rusher and a OT/G. Brailsford might be the best center in this draft. The Bengals look very good at skill positions so despite the fact of me being a Crimson Tide homer, I think that my draft would help the Bengals. I also want to take this opportuinity to thank @Virgilfor what he does for and means to this board. Doing his "Thoughts" and these drafts entail more work than many probably realize. @GunnerBilland the Saints are on the clock. 1 1 Quote
NewEra Posted April 9 Posted April 9 2 hours ago, Might Rather said: At 69 Houston selects D'Angelo Ponds, CB, Indiana A productive perimeter cornerback trapped in a smaller body, but he’s not lacking in confidence or coverage ability. He’s tremendously competitive and winning seems to follow him at each stop. Cleveland @Alphadawg7 is on the clock Man, that would really suck!! Great pick. Can’t believe he lasted this long. He’s a baller. Almost took him with the Niners pick last round strictly based on value but Upton Stout had a better rookie year than publicized and we need pass rush Quote
GunnerBill Posted April 9 Posted April 9 With the 73rd pick in the 2026 TSW Mock Draft version 1.0, the New Orleans Saints select: Joshua Josephs, Edge, Tennessee @Kirby Jackson and the Kansas City Chiefs are now on the clock. This worked out pretty perfectly for the Saints as for the third round in a row our #1 target falls to our selection. I have Josephs graded ahead of at least a couple of the edge guys that have already gone off the board and he is my #1 best remaining overall player. He is also just the Saints type – they love length in their defensive linemen and his 82 inch wingspan will be right up their street. He reminds me a bit of Marcus Davenport who they traded right the way up in the first to select a few years ago. His lack of mass – especially in his lower body – means he is probably a designated pass rusher only as a rookie rather than a three down player, but with a year or two in an NFL strength and conditioning programme he can be a starting 4-3 defensive end and with Cam Jordan potentially done in the Bayou they need reinforcements in that room. 3 Quote

Kirby Jackson Posted April 9 Posted April 9 With the 74th pick, the Kansas City Chiefs select: Antonio Williams, WR, Clemson The Chiefs have a need at WR and feel good about Williams at this point. His improvisational skills fit perfectly with Mahomes. He’s very good with the ball in his hands and will be a safety blanket for Mahomes. With Kelce winding down Williams can grow into that guy that finds a soft spot in coverage when things break down. With Bain, Terrell, Banks and Williams coming in, we feel great about this class. We expect all 4 to contribute immediately and bring us back to the top of the league. The Miami Dolphins and @H2o are on the clock 2 Quote

H2o Posted April 9 Posted April 9 (edited) With the 75th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select: Gracen Halton, DT, Oklahoma Halton is a disruptor on the interior who wins with quickness and athleticism more than strength. He had a good pass rush win rate on the interior and will shift to lining up at either a 5-Tech or 4i-Tech in our new scheme. We think he can be the same type of disruptive force that Braden Fiske was during his rookie campaign. @RyanC883 and the Fighting McCarthy's are on the clock. Edited April 9 by H2o 3 Quote

RyanC883 Posted April 9 Posted April 9 with the 76th pick, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Bud Clark, S, TCU. The Steelers currently have a patchwork of individuals at safety, including Ramsey who is a CB. The Steelers look for a long term solution here. The Steelers like that Clark is a 3 year captain, his 15 interceptions over 4 years, and his ability to play man and zone concepts with experience at both S and slot. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and @Allen2Moulds are on the clock. 5 1 Quote

Wasn't a Saints fit so wasn't my backup option but in terms of pure grade he was my 2nd guy left. Great pick. 1 Quote
Allen2Moulds Posted April 9 Posted April 9 Posted 3 hours ago With the 77th pick, the Tampa Bay Bucs select: Malik Muhammad, CB, Texas Muhammad is smooth and plays with good eye discipline. He consistently stays in a good position, giving himself a chance to make a play on the ball and plays with active hands. He also plays well in zone and man coverage. Muhammad's film is not extremely flashy, but he is a reliable corner who does not give up a lot of big plays. The Bucs feel that he has good scheme versatility, and is a high floor prospect with room to grow. The Indianapolis and @Doc Brown are on the clock 2 1 Quote
Doc Brown Posted April 9 Posted April 9 With the 78th pick, the Indianapolis Colts select, Malachi Fields, WR, ND Could use a potential WR2 to replace Michael Pittman and Fields's build and skill set is similar. Will need to improve route running to fill that X receiver role. The Falcons @Captain Hindsightare on the clock. 2 Quote
