I'm gonna pick and tell him he sucks The Green Bay Packers Select: Julian Neal CB Arkansas GB needs to add talent to their secondary. Neal is a big corner who its the mold of the packers other corners and provides immediate depth with starter potential down the line Considered drafting Ty Simpson for drama purposes, but the packers add to their defense @RyanC883 and the steelers are on the clock I like Neal a lot. This might be a tad early, but he is a good player. Quote

Virgil Posted April 8 Author Posted April 8 The Philadelphia Eagles select Keyron Crawford, Edge, Auburn. GM - Our defensive line has become the staple of our team and we had some attrition at the position. We have other needs, but none of value that we could see. We expect Crawford to be a piece we can rotate in until he finds his footing, but still make an impact. The Chargers @Hermes are on the clock 3 Quote

He has high upside potential for an aging OL group. Did not surrender a single sack in 2025 @LEBills and the Vikings are on the clock Nice pick now your right tackle just retired! Quote

Bill from NYC Posted April 8 Posted April 8 4 hours ago, RyanC883 said: With the 53rd selection, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Germie Bernard, WR, Alabama. The Steelers need more WRs to run McCarthy's offense, and here they get a guy who can start with DK and Pittman on day 1. Bernard does everything very well, including blocking and taking handoffs. While he lacks an "elite" trait (perhaps route running is elite), we see his floor as Robert Woods type of do everything WR, while his upside is a true #1. For now, he gives the Steelers a really good 3rd option that will make Rodger's life easier and keep the chains moving. The Philadelphia Eagles and @EmotionallyUnstable (great name for Eagles fan/owner!) are on the clock. Excellent pick. I wish the Bills would get him. 1 Quote

Bill from NYC Posted April 8 Posted April 8 (edited) 38 minutes ago, NewEra said: What are your thoughts on Deontae Lawson? Deontae improved as time passed. He was a team captain. He isn't the brutal Reuben Foster type but he is an all around solid player who always seemed to be in the right spot. It would probably help him if he gained a few pounds. It is hard for me to predict where he will go in the draft. Most inside lbs don't go very early. Would I like him to be there for the Bills in the 4th, or perhaps even 3rd round? Yes. Hermes Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Sorry I got caught up tiling my backsplash.. With the 55th overall pick the LA Chargers select Keylen Rutledge, G, Georgia Tech. Being patient paid off and we found ourselves a stalwart on the OL. Not a sexy draft but you win games in the trenches. @Virgil and the Jaguars on the clock 3 Quote
EmotionallyUnstable Posted April 8 Posted April 8 my fault @Virgil happy with the edge selection. Thanks for making that happen! Apologies to all. I’ll be ready for my two in round 3 We were hoping for R Mason Thomas to fall to 54 but satisfied with an edge. We will likely look to add WRIOL in round 3 1 Quote
Virgil Posted April 8 Author Posted April 8 The Jacksonville Jaguars select Davison Igbinosun, CB, Ohio State. GM - We need outside corner help, and Davison can easily play that role, or slot to the inside while he acclimates. We ran to the podium for our guy, as we were super happy he was still available. The Bears @MrEpsYtown are on the clock 2 Quote
MrEpsYtown Posted April 8 Posted April 8 With the 57th pick in the 2026 TSW mock draft 1.0 the Chicago Bears select Gabe Jacas, Edge, Illinois. The two biggest needs for the Bears coming into this DT and edge. I mentioned with the Peter Woods pick that Dennis Allen is Sean McDermott light, that he is looking for specific types for his defense and his ends have to big long armed, bigger guys, strong run defending ends. Bears need some help opposite Montez Sweat and we keep Jacas in state with this pick. Jacas is a big strong end with length. He plays the run and while he needs some work in the pass rush department, he’s exactly the type of end that fits here and he has a great motor. Apparently his intangibles are also very strong. The 49ers and @NewEra are on the clock. @Virgil 6 Quote

NewEra Posted April 8 Posted April 8 (edited) With the 58th pick, the SF 49ers select Derrick Moore, Edge, Michigan. we had our heart set on Gabe Jacas only to have our heart broken. We need pass rush and Moore has size, strength and and is tenacious. While some have a 3rd rd grade on him, we like the attitude and toughness he brings to defensive side of the ball. @Might Rather is on the clock. Edited April 8 by NewEra 2 Quote
