These things are so hard to do unless you have an absolutely dedicated group who checks constantly. One thing that I would recommend in the future to speed things up that I have done on other forums is every participant is to give their phone number to you so you can text them when their pick is up instead of entrusting a person to just keep showing up to check. 

 

The coolest one I ever did which is incredibly hard to pull off is in 2013 we did something called a 5 rounds in 5 nights mock draft where it was done in a chat room and two people were the analysts/commissioners on like a conference call setting. We could hear everything they were saying including announcing the picks/trades and their analysis of picks. The teams general managers were in a chat room just listening and working out trades in private messages which each other. When it was time for a team to make their pick they would private message the two in the chat what their pick was and it would get announced on the conference call. It was really cool to do with a group of people but it only lasted one year and Im pretty sure it was because the logistics were incredibly difficult.

With the 48th pick in the draft, the Colts select, Jacob Rodriguez, LB, Texas Tech

 

The Colts fill a major need by taking the ballhawking LB in Rodriguez whose college production was impressive. Though a little undersized, his instincts and athleticism makes up for it.  Gives me Matt Milano vibes and I wouldn't mind the Bills trading back to take him in the 2nd in the real draft.

I did a full 7 rounder (as the Bills) that Matt Miller organised the year he was doing his own venture between Bleacher Report and ESPN (think it was 2021) and it took us less than a week but again it was a very draft nerdy crowd. I only nailed one pick the Bills made that year - Jack Anderson - and I took him a round earlier than the reality. I was between Groot and Etienne for my first rounder but went the wrong way.

I feel like this might be a steal here. All the talking heads seem to have him in round 1 somewhere.

Love that pick there. He was on my short list at the last pick. It’s a swing for the fences but at that point of the draft it’s a swing worth taking.

He could sneak into the back of the first. I think this is more commensurate with his actual value, but teams will look at the measurables and think "fine I'll teach him to play."

The Vikings ranked 22nd in the league in rush yards allowed. After disappointing seasons from Jonathan Allen and Javon Hargrave last year, the Vikings are excited to pair Miller’s excellent run stop ability with Jalen Redmond’s athleticism.

The Carolina Panthers are proud to select TE Eli Stowers. 
 

While the GM of the Panthers usually sticks to BPA (like in round 1 whom we feel will be the first corner drafted in the NFL draft) and avoids reaching on players….. we feel that the drop off to the 3rd TE is significant enough to take Stowers here to be our new move F tight end and provide our young QB with another offensive weapon .

GB needs to add talent to their secondary. Neal is a big corner who its the mold of the packers other corners and provides immediate depth with starter potential down the line 

 

Considered drafting Ty Simpson for drama purposes, but the packers add to their defense

With the 53rd selection, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Germie Bernard, WR, Alabama.  The Steelers need more WRs to run McCarthy's offense, and here they get a guy who can start with DK and Pittman on day 1.  Bernard does everything very well, including blocking and taking handoffs.  While he lacks an "elite" trait (perhaps route running is elite), we see his floor as Robert Woods type of do everything WR, while his upside is a true #1.  For now, he gives the Steelers a really good 3rd option that will make Rodger's life easier and keep the chains moving.  The Philadelphia Eagles and @EmotionallyUnstable (great name for Eagles fan/owner!) are on the clock.
