I know the Bengals need defense but protecting Burrows would be of paramount importance if I was the GM. Why would they start now? 😋 1 1 Quote

Yeah I was on the fence between your corner and a blocker, so I called McDermott for advice. He told me that a corner was much more important than protecting my star QB. It was a rough decision but I had to reject his advice. 3 minutes ago, Virgil said: Why would they start now? 😋 I don't know. Should they hire McDermott? 5 Quote

H2o Posted April 7 Posted April 7 With the 43rd pick in the 2026 NFL Draft the Miami Dolphins select: AJ Haulcy, S, LSU Haulcy reminds us of Xavier Watts with his ability to recognize routes and make plays in coverage, but he also lowers the boom like Nick Emmanwori. We like the value at #43 here and immediately expect him to slot in as a starter. @gonzo1105 and the Ringling Bros. & J-E-T-S Circus are on the clock. 3 Quote

gonzo1105 Posted April 7 Posted April 7 With the 44th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the New York Jets select: Chris Bell, WR, Louisville Reasoning: Yes I have higher WRs in my personal rankings ,but Bell is a formidable big body WR who can work the intermediate areas with the best of them with underrated speed. He did tear his ACL and might not be ready for the start of the season but let’s face it the Jets want to suck next year with 3 first round picks to get their franchise QB so easing Bell into the NFL life coming off of injury makes a lot of sense for them as he and their future QB can get started together. @Big Blitz and the Ravens are on the clock 3 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted April 7 Posted April 7 The Jets will now gracefully bow out of this draft with no other picks in the first 3 rounds 2) Arvell Reese Edge Ohio State 16) Mansoor DeLane CB LSU 33) Emmanuel McNeil Warren S Toledo 44) Chris Bell WR Louisville Obviously a pretty big advantage having 4 draft picks in the top 44 selections. Took Reese and he will go either 2 or 3 in the real deal in my opinion. DeLane was my big win here as there is no way he’s making it to 16. I also think Warren goes higher in the real thing but there is a possibility he could be there , still like the player and situation Some believe Bell would be a 1st rounder if it wasn’t for his injury. I think he’ll go right around mid 2nd so I think he’s value appropriate and for the Jets situation he could heal and work his way in with no downside 6 1 Quote

That haul though followed by 3 more 1sts in 2027 (at least one should be really early) has them in position to turn the corner. I know I’m in the minority but I worry more about the Jets and Dolphins moving forward than the Pats. Quote

Woody Johnson fired me right after the draft stating I didn’t follow his son’s draft advice and he really wanted Ty Simpson instead of waiting for a generational QB class in 2027. Took too many premium positions in the top 4 picks 3 Quote

Big Blitz Posted April 7 Posted April 7 (edited) *Crowd still mercilessly booing us* With the 45th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft the Baltimore Ravens select Gennings Dunker, OT Iowa. After addressing LG, we fortify the right side with a T that could move to RG if need be but we will start him at Tackle - where he fits the mold of a RT - big and nasty. We have a few needs on defense we will address later we don’t like the value right now and we had Dunker as a target here from the jump so we are sticking to the board where value meets need. Tampa Bay and @Allen2Moulds are on the clock. Edited April 7 by Big Blitz Quote
Allen2Moulds Posted April 7 Posted April 7 (edited) Jason Licht almost breaks his leg, as he sprints to the podium to hand this pick in. With the 46th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select CJ Allen LB Georgia. With the leader of the defense and long time favorite LaVonte David retiring, a major hole opened up at LB. The Bucs couldn't be more ecstatic, that their top graded LB, fell all the way down to pick 46. 2 of the bigger holes have already been filled. Indianapolis Colts and @Doc Brown are on the clock Edited April 7 by Allen2Moulds 1 1 1 Quote

Virgil Posted April 8 Author Posted April 8 At this pace, 2.0 might only be two rounds and 3.0 will be one. I may even cut this off mock after the Bills 3rd round pick. 1 1 Quote
