And that is with no josh allen at qb. Quote

Josh is 30 now, this should be the mindset of the Bills right now So basically you are saying that any logic that doesnt result in us taking on additional salary cap that we dont have and will have to kick down the road and further hamstring ourselves, that would require us to give up talent the equivalent of Jarod Verse which we currently do not have on our defense as well as significant draft capital that in our current cap situation makes it even more critical for us to draft and develop in lieu of trying to get our cap in a better place, with a QB that has likely 8-10 years is terrible... fair enough... you have a right to your opinion... Now for me, I certainly wont call your opinion terrible, I happen to be torn... if we pulled a trade off I would be excited as anyone, but in the back of my head wondering what that meant for the future... I feel like Josh has 10 more years of being very good to excellent... bottom line is risk reward... is the reward worth the risk... the point of my post was as Stafford is looking at 40 I completely get why the Rams pushed their chips in I would have done it all day if I was in that situation... I am fine that we did not as our QB is much younger... but we better go find our game wrecker in the draft... because without that I am not sure you win it all... Edited June 1 by JP51 1 1 Quote

Yes I am pretty much at a win now mode. You have Josh Allen in his prime and this is going on Year 9 for Beane and Allen and they haven't even sniffed a Lombardi yet. Beane's safe and cautious mindset isn't getting the job done and I would love to see them just take on a different approach at this point. I get why some fans also get scared of the ramifications but I'll gladly take a Super Bowl win and then have to deal with a couple down seasons afterwards it it comes down to it. Of course by making some bolder moves that doesn't guarantee winning a Super Bowl either but it def gives you a better chance and at least I can accept going down swinging but I am just so sick of Beane playing it conservative every year. He is lucky he still has a job IMO. 9 years is a very long time to still have an NFL GM job when you haven't made it to the Super Bowl yet with arguably the best QB in the NFL. 3 Quote

I am 50 plus years waiting for just one... again, if he made the trade I would have to trust that he knew what he was doing and I would have been excited... I also have little faith in his drafting and or picking the right FA, I am also sick of the get 3 for the price of one FA and hope we get a diamond in the rough cheap... I get exactly where you are at... and I want one before I die as well... but he is taking an alternate route and I get it.. time will tell... 1 1 Quote
C.Biscuit97 Posted June 2 Posted June 2 What could we offer the Rams for him? They could use a 3rd wr (Keon) and maybe a few draft picks. Quote

I don’t see us getting a game wrecker/changer where we draft. At some point you have to give up picks to get one. Hope it’s soon. Btw, I see what you did there with “ramifications.” We need some ramifications! Edited June 2 by Ga boy Grammar again 1 Quote
