Steptide Posted March 26 Posted March 26 I know sherfield was here before. Was he a practice squad guy? I can't remember honestly 1 1 Quote

Virgil Posted March 26 Posted March 26 I like bringing back Sherfield. He showed flashes and is solid depth. 3 5 1 2 Quote
billsfan714 Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Quote Draft going to be just about all defense outside of a receiver IMHO. 4 4 1 Quote
No_Matter_What Posted March 26 Posted March 26 I guess/hope all are for vet mins and no guarantees. Maybe Corbett gets something. 3 Quote
HappyDays Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Corbett could start at LG. That leaves WLB as the one remaining position where we don't have a starter in the building. 4 2 Quote

Doc Brown Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Only one of the three played for Carolina. Maybe McDermott had more say on the roster than we thought. 2 3 1 Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted March 26 Author Posted March 26 Sherfield stinks. Corbett feels like the ideal floor for LG. Cushenberry is interesting to me because he’s another C. Do they maybe try to get a pick for SVPG? Would someone give an asset for him? 4 1 1 Quote
Slippery Rubber Mats Posted March 26 Posted March 26 I thought Sherfield was going to be a quality piece last time he was here. Hopefully round 2 is better 1 Quote

Hopefully round 2 is better He’s caught 11 balls for 104 yards in the 2 years since he’s been gone. He caught 11 balls for 86 yards in his season here. So to recap in the last 3 NFL seasons he has caught 22 passes for 190 yards and 2 TDs. Guys have games that are better than this!! 3 1 2 Quote

Kirby Jackson Posted March 26 Author Posted March 26 Just now, Doc Brown said: He's a solid special teams player and that's why he was signed to play only in that role. I hope. But you can’t keep he AND Sam Franklin to be ST only guys. Maybe he’s keeping Shavers seat warm while he recovers? I suspect he’s a camp body to get to 90. 2 4 Quote

Augie Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Geez, why was I so worried??? Keep looking at guys, you never know and depth is a real need, as we have learned the hard way in the playoffs over the years. Quote
