Augie Posted March 18 Posted March 18 I’ve seen parts of Miami where this would be well advised for security purposes. 1 Quote
Low Positive Posted March 18 Posted March 18 (edited) Your post took me down a rabbit hole of the etymology of the word "tank" and the term "to tank." The term "going into the tank," meaning to lose on purpose, comes from boxing, because a fighter was taking a dive "into the tank." If you think about it, it's pretty strange that an armored vehicle with a huge gun has the same name as a container to hold water. Well, there is a reason. The word "tank" in the military sense comes from WWI when the British used it to make German intelligence think they were building large numbers of water tanks instead of armored vehicles. So, after all that, my point is that Fins' helmet should have a water tank with a dolphin swimming inside. Like Seaworld. Edited March 18 by Low Positive 3 2 1 Quote
billsfan89 Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Miami doing the right thing that core they had with Tua/Hill/Waddle/Chubb/Phillips/Fitzpatrick was either aging or just not enough to get it done. They still have some younger pieces there Kenneth Grant, Chop Robinson, and Achane among a few others but they have to move on from a core of players that were legit very good in 2023 but just middling in the two years since. H2o Posted March 18 Posted March 18 I always knew I recognized Miami's new head coach from his initial press conference: Quote
Swiftalo12 Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Remember the "Tank for Tua" year? Had did that work out for them? 2 Quote
Pecker Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Why did they bother signing Malik Willis? I would have just went with Tua/ewers and gone after that #1 pick in 2027 4 Quote

H2o Posted March 18 Posted March 18 All jokes aside, if the Dolphins' new GM is competent, they could rebuild this team fairly quick. They have 7 picks in the first three rounds of this draft: 1 1 Quote

I just put this together super quick based off the "needs" and attempting to have a team ready for a QB1 drafted next year. 2 starting caliber WRs. Potential pro-bowl CB. interior OL help. Starting RB. S who could start. Depth at Edge and TE. 23 hours ago, RobbRiddick said: And the Germans fell for that? They really did deserve to lose the war.
