Agreed—Kelly had a heckuva rainbow throw deep that would just drop softly into the breadbasket…plus every bit the distance cannon as Allen. That said, Allen’s release and 0-60 velocity on intermediate routes while off platform is frankly, otherworldly and a true unicorn trait Kelly and all others never had. 2 Quote

The whole physics of the throw change when you put touch on it. Timing has to be perfect and slow, but not in reach of the defender. I agree 1 Quote
Mike In Illinois Posted March 14 Posted March 14 My 9th birthday, this game was my official entrance into Bills fandom. Living in Central Illinois our 'local' CBS affiliate in Champaign would show Bears games; we could usually pick up the St. Louis stations on the antenna if the atmosphere was good, so I managed to catch this on KMOV out of St. Louis. Several years ago I was able to get a copy of the game on two discs and I will always cherish having a copy of it. 4 1 Quote
