13 Seconds to Mars Posted March 13 Posted March 13 Cooks and Shaq. Allen and Cooks started to really catch on. And I think a long time Vet like Cooks (who’s played with a ton of greats) is much needed for this WR room. Specifically Coleman. He definitely needs a mature figure in his life. 2 Quote

So Beane filling the slot with one player and one contract instead of 2 players and two contracts. roster space and cap improvement immediately Maybe ... just maybe. Remember Chubbs gonna have to stay healthy....age old issue at the Bills edge rusher position. He stays healthy and your prediction is spot on.......again - maybe. Quote
Jimmy Harris 69 Posted March 14 Posted March 14 (edited) I thought Thompson and cooks, then reconsidered Thompson. He was right for mcdermott’s scheme but not the bully they need at Mike for this defense. That guy will be drafted in round one. There might be a world where 15 year old wunderkind Tremaine Edmonds comes back to Buffalo. Imagine those long paws clogging up the passing lanes like Ted Hendricks. I digress , Cooks and maybe Epenesa. Often wondered if he could play linebacker/edge. Edited March 14 by Jimmy Harris 69 Quote
Freddie's Dead Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Milano started to look like the old Cookie by the end of the year. Hope he stays. 1 Quote

What do you pay for that? What does AJE give you at $5M - $10M a year that a 4th rounder doesn’t? I have a good friend that spent 7 years in the league as a LB/ST guy. He always says that it was much easier to make the team his first few years even if he wasn’t as good a player. By the time he started making $1.5M-$2M a year, he was always worried about being replaced. He played through a dozen or so undiagnosed concussions knowing that a street FA or PS guy could do close to the same job much cheaper. It’s a tough spot and one of the things AJE is dealing with. Sierra Foothills Posted March 15 Posted March 15 (edited) I'll never forget seeing The Who at Rich Stadium in 1982 along with The Clash, and David Johansen... epic show. That was ironically their first (but not their last) "Farewell Tour." I can't believe they're coming back again! Edited March 15 by Sierra Foothills Quote
vincec Posted March 15 Posted March 15 I have a feeling that Epenesa would be a decent fit as a 3-4 end so they may give him a chance. I think all the other ones are gone. Quote
