gonzo1105 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 He went there for the cash and Gannon, Gannon is now gone and he wants out. Cardinals also in a full rebuild can’t blame him it’s not what he signed up for. Wonder if Monty O will let him go or not 3 1 Quote
Special K Posted March 12 Posted March 12 NFL players are finally figuring out the loophole that NBA players figured out years ago......get your big money contract from whoever will give it to you, then ask for a trade to the team you really want to play for a year later so you get the big money and the team you want to play for.... 4 2 Quote
machine gun kelly Posted March 12 Posted March 12 He’s a nice player, and not a superstar. He is durable in he played most of his 8 seasons for 16-17 games a year minus 1. He is going into his 9th year. He’s 28 so we’ll see what is his going rate. He would be an OLB/Edge if we picked him up. He’s listed at 265 lbs. and has a good deal of bend. My middle son ever since he was 7 fell in love with Cards, and sticks with them. I appreciate his loyalty to his team. I just don’t know as many will state we probably can’t afford him. 1 1 Quote

boyst Posted March 12 Posted March 12 He will be back to the Eagles. No one will try to trade for him since the Eagles always seem to cheat by breaking the rules - he will be cut and signed by the eagles. 1 1 Quote
JP51 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 This adds another edge to mix, wonder if this influences the Crosby situation either by adding another person, or potentially and exchange between the Raiders and Cards. Quote

Brandon Beane in a shipping container somewhere in a far corner of One Bills Drive: "Josh, I believe you've met Darius before? "Darius Slay, Josh Sweat... Josh, Darius." 5 Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Wasn’t the rumor that the Colts were the biggest bidder on Hendrickson? Maybe they jump in here if so. I have no idea where they are cap wise after paying Dimes and Pierce. Quote
Brand J Posted March 12 Posted March 12 He’s very comparable to Rousseau, even in size and athletic measurements. Rousseau is the better run defender, Sweat is the better pass rusher. Rousseau has yet to crack double digit sacks on a season. 1 Quote

Now, teams are still moving crap around to be compliant so we’ll see. We’re listed as over the cap by $6 mil. Beane will be pulling levers through tomorrow to get under. If the Bills already took Chub,I just don’t know of we are actually in this running. 2 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 He’ll be back to Eagles but I hope we inquire. Budda Baker + Josh Sweat for 2027 2nd & 4th haha 1 Quote

But also, the Cardinals have always been and will always be the Cardinals. He knew exactly what he was signing up for, or should have known. I'm not thrilled with bringing the NBA process to the NFL. 1 Quote
