SCBills Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Smart signing that makes a ton of sense, especially at that price point. Also understand how this feels deflating to alot of people. Feels a lot like this years version of Bosa. 1 6 1 Quote

Mark Vader Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Okay, I trust Jim Leonhard, it's just that this guy has been underwhelming. Quote

So now we got the guy Elway drafted and the guy Elway wish he drafted. 🤣🤣🤣 We actually have the #4 (Chubb), #7 (Allen), AND #18 (DJ Moore) picks from the 2018 draft. If only we had re-signed Tremaine! 2 6 2 1 Quote
mushypeaches Posted March 11 Posted March 11 All the people complaining about this should conveniently remember watching AJ Epenesa rush the passer in key moments the last couple of years 4 1 3 Quote

Great pass rushers and great WRs are expensive. And they get drafted high. The Ravens just got Trey Hendrickson? He was a 4th round pick. Maxx Crosby was a 4th round pick. We're in this position because Beane can't draft these types of dudes and we have too much money tied up in a roster that just isn't that great. 3 1 1 Quote

We tried speed under McDermott for the last 8 years. This is a fair contract for someone who has alot of potential. Hopefully it works out 1 Quote
MrEpsYtown Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Very good player, not my favorite because Dolphins. Will be familiar with some concepts as he played for Vance Joseph early in his career. I assume Leonhard’s scheme will share some things there. Not a speed rusher, more power and counter moves. I appreciate the way he bullies Patrick Ricard in this clip. Makes Dion look like a fool a few times as well. He will help. 1 1 Quote

It’s a 2 year 15M contract for a guy that isn’t worth 15M for one year, let alone 2. I think he will help but I don’t think it was a good allocation of resources. I would’ve been good paying him 8-12 (and twice is pushing it) for a season. 15M for two important years, 🤷🏻♂️ But at this point, let’s just hope he can stay healthy and be a terror 1 1 1 Quote

Virgil Posted March 11 Posted March 11 So I guess age and injury history ISN’T a concern for us. Good thing we stayed away from Henrickson and Crosby when there’s much better middling talent out there. Also, are we to assume the Hoecht is a LB in our new offense, while Chubb and Groot are DE’s? I really hope excessive line rotation and overpayments would end with McD. Needless to say, this just feels like par for the course for us. Quote

BuffaloBillsGospel2014 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 (edited) Nice his down year of 8.5 sacks last year would have lead the Bills. 😀 Solid signing and much needed pass rush. Edited March 11 by BuffaloBillsGospel2014 1 Quote
BillsNoFlyZone Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Does he just play DE? Im ok with him potentially in another roll but dont like him in that position for us Quote
