Oh good. Another retread edge. Addison. Von. Floyd. Bosa. Chubb.

Hope he didn't confess he is under 30 or else Beane woulda pulled the deal.

Floyd is the last guy on our team to have 10 or more sacks per season, wish we’d have kept him.

I get it and why he did it. I’m not a huge Bradley Chubb guy and I probably would have wanted a 2 year deal with an out after one year but I’m assuming Chubb had better offers than that. They desperately needed an edge and at least he doesn’t hurt the comp pick formula

Also, while he didn't play for Carolina, he played college ball there (NC State), and while Beane was still with the Panthers (2014-2016 seasons)!

Damn that's some money but he's a great fit and he has gas in the tank still

How is he a great fit? He is another slow burn power rusher. We need speed rushers.

I don't get this signing at all, honestly.

He wasn't really on my radar as someone I was hoping for, but he's had success as a pass rusher and run defender. $14.5 mil per is a decent contract that doesn't preclude other moves.

How does Leonhard use him? OLB in the 3-4, or DE in  the 4-3? Genuine question.

Here is what cracks me up, is we now have the #4 and #7 picks from the 2018 draft.

So now we got the guy Elway drafted and the guy Elway wish he drafted. 🤣🤣🤣

So he could pull a Bosa and be invisible in the playoffs?  No thanks.

Happy we got him.  I think he’ll fit in well.

that said  29 gtd is a bit steep imo.

$29M gtd isn't that bad really, as long as he stays healthy for us. He's had 27 sacks and 11 FF's over the last 3 years. I'll take that.

Both when they are in Nickel he’ll put his hand in the dirt and when their in a 3-4 he’ll be a stand up backer

Would assume standing up like he did in Denver opposite ware

Former Dolphins DE Bradley Chubb reached agreement on a three-year, $43.5 million deal worth up to $52.5 million that includes $29 million guaranteed with the Buffalo Bills.

Where did this come from?

2 year 30 million dollars isn't horrible.  I just don't know what he offers at this stage in his career.  Maybe that missed season will give him some fresher legs.  They had to bring in some pass rushing help.

Color me pleasantly surprised, because...

Reading the thread title, I was thinking Nick Chubb. And I was like why would Beane and Brady sign a 30-year old, washed up RB for 3 years?

Feels like Beane signs the same exact players over and over again in free agency.. Middling WRs who are brought in to be something they aren't or aging pass rushers with lengthy injury histories. Guess we'll see if this one pans out differently than the rest.

That's probably the best you can do with limited cap space and late round picks.

Great pass rushers and great WRs are expensive. And they get drafted high.

I'm not a huge Bradley Chubb fan.  He was hit and miss in Denver and Miami.

We just have to hope he stays healthy (he's always dinged up) and can play the rush designated OLB.

Fingers crossed.
