Chubb is 3 years younger than Von was when he signed with Buffalo (Chubb is about to be 30 Von was 33) and the Chubb contract is more of a 2 year commitment on a smaller contract... 2 1 Quote

BillsSbSoon Posted March 11 Posted March 11 (edited) That contract seems pretty reasonable for money and length. Didn’t have to give up picks. This is a solid pickup. Guy came back well last year when a lot of us thought he would be done. This is also the guy that elway drafted instead of Josh thankfully Edited March 11 by BillsSbSoon 6 Quote
NickelCity Posted March 11 Posted March 11 (edited) 3 years 29mil gtd doesn't actually sound that bad for a player of his caliber in this day and age. But im no cap-ologist. I like his experience in a 3-4. Edited March 11 by NickelCity 1 Quote
GunnerBill Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Oh good. Another retread edge. Addison. Von. Floyd. Bosa. Chubb. Hope he didn't confess he is under 30 or else Beane woulda pulled the deal. 2 1 10 1 3 8 1 1 Quote

stlbills13 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I mean how many years have we seen the pass rush disappear in the playoffs? Maybe Chubb isn't the super feared pass rusher he used to be but you gotta take a swing and he's a good fit in Leonhard's scheme. Still need help all across the defense but this is a good move and does allow for a little more "best player available" in the draft mentality. 2 1 1 Quote
US Egg Posted March 11 Posted March 11 More importantly, what does @Kelly to Allen think about this. 1 22 1 1 Quote
Kincaid Kool-Aid Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Not sure how much this will help on the field, but can you put a price in Chubb jokes for the next 2-3 years? Methinks no 3 Quote
KentuckyBillsFan Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Feels like Beane signs the same exact players over and over again in free agency.. Middling WRs who are brought in to be something they aren't or aging pass rushers with lengthy injury histories. Guess we'll see if this one pans out differently than the rest. 1 7 1 Quote
