SoonerBillsFan Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I wonder if that might be a game they schedule us for in the new stadium? Quote
Buffalo03 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I'm waiting for the eventual Black Friday double header or triple header Quote

Chargers vs. Ravens on Black Friday would be a nonstarter for you? I’m pretty certain that 99% of the guys who say they’re “done” with NFL football “except when the Bills are playing” are complete fibbers. 1 Quote

I wouldn't want to risk driving that night as cops are out looking to issue DUI's more so than a regular night out. And it’s basically the start of beach season in Florida, wretched place but still. 1 Quote

Probably true. I managed to not watch the Super Bowl this year as I promised. It was a proud moment. Quote
Big Turk Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Biggest party night of the year in the US...why not get in on it? Quote
Buffalo Ballin Posted March 12 Posted March 12 This is fine. Don't give an EFF. All good. Let's go. Quote

Personally my drive to watch non Bills games live has tanked in recent years. I catch glimpses of Monday night and Thursday night at times (when making dinner, but rarely watch the whole game, unless it’s the Bills). I haven’t watched as much red zone as I used too (a handful of Sunday’s a year). I mostly just watch the replays. I watch every Bills game in replay and then the good games of each week, or if I want to watch a certain player for whatever reason, I’ll watch their games. I have a morning routine of watching a game replay before work. For me it’s about maximizing my time, and not sitting around for all of the commercials. I’m so grateful for NFL replay. I feel like I get more football viewing in with less time invested. 1 Quote

BuffaloBillsGospel2014 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Another game I wont watch unless it's on Prime. I don't have Netflix, Peacock, Hulu or any other so the NFL is making it easy for me to tune out. They really are trying to take over everything and eventually people will get tired of the greed like I have sooner or later. Quote
MiltonWaddams Posted March 12 Posted March 12 One more step towards daily football games sundays and Mondays have always been enough for me. I watch some Thursday night football, but I would rather it all went down on Sundays. Quote

Chargers vs. Ravens on Black Friday would be a nonstarter for you? I would not watch...sorry. And to be honest I haven't sat down and watched a Black Friday game yet I just think it waters down the product and teams aren't prepared like they would be if they had the proper rest and game planning. I thought the NFL was about player safety...it obviously isn't. Even a Wednesday night game after a bye isn't really a bye. Lets assume teams play Sunday then go into their bye week and come out of it playing the Wednesday night game. It's nine days off the same as a mini bye during the year that each team gets at least one coming off a Thursday night game. Its just not cool. Quote

NewEra Posted March 12 Posted March 12 17 hours ago, Augie said: I’ll come clean and be perfectly honest - I probably wouldn’t watch. It’s not my little protest or anything, it’s just that the NFL has done so much to saturate the market that I’m getting sick of Roger and the league as a whole. I just don’t care about the NFL very much, because squeezing games in on a Wednesday night just for more viewers tells me they don’t care much about the integrity of the game, so why should I care? Thursday night games don’t provide adequate rest and preparation for teams or players. Wednesday night? Now you’re just %$&*ing greedy. Even if they were both coming off a bye, I still don’t like it. I used to be all in on everything the NFL had to offer. The Sunday highlights during Monday Night Football used to be must see TV. Now? I just watch the Bills and I even missed a game this season completely because I had something better to do. That is a first. Some may question my “fan-hood”, but I’m not obligated to buy all the crap they are selling. . I’m with you 💯 Adding a thanksgiving eve game would be yet another brick in the house that greed built Quote

If the NFL does it right (and I’m not saying they will) they’d just schedule the two teams around their mid-season bye week. You can watch the game or not, but since nobody works the next day (as opposed to Monday night which has been a thing for 50 years) it seems that Thanksgiving Eve is a natural. Quote
Lost Posted March 12 Posted March 12 I'm fine with it as long as the teams are getting fair amount of rest. I like being able to watch more games not on Sunday. Listening to Al Michaels on TNF is like a tranquilizer so I usually get a good nights sleep those days 😄 Quote
frostbitmic Posted March 12 Posted March 12 They should schedule games for every night of the week, every week. 🤑 Quote
