I get it. Which is precisely why in a football forum as great as TBD you should be grateful it exists and want to stay Period.. And its rules and recommendations with it. If the guiding rules and moderation are not to your liking you are free to join a different bills forum.. several do exist. None with the acumen of posters this place has. Being a moderator is a thankless job. It's well below my pay grade for starters. and Im broke lol j/k trying to lighten the mood 2
Draconator Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I'm just wondering if Simon/SDS has this board locked down from hyper posting. On my old Rush messageboard that used this exact same board software, if the correct settings we're turned on, all a user had to do is make a senseless post, and click the "Submit Reply" button quickly and repeatedly. Then in a matter of seconds there would be hundreds of posts, all the same post, by all the same person. Members on my board took it as a personal challenge to make as many posts as possible in as short of time as possible. One guy was able to hit 1,000,000 posts in a 24 hour period. 200 plus posts in 24 hours? Bush league. Kelly to Allen, step up your game yo.
DanDrasticHill Posted March 11 Posted March 11 (edited) I think I got a warning in 2006 but that's past the statute of limitations. On the record I posted 4 times in 2023, 3 times in 2022, once in '24 and once in '25. I'm over my post limit for 2026 now Best thread ever Edited March 11 by DanDrasticHill 2

WotAGuy Posted March 11 Posted March 11 It wasn’t just the number of posts, it was the constant references to what Beane was doing to secure Hendrickson/Maxx - just over and over saying the same thing in responses to different posters. It sounded like someone who overdosed on ADHD meds; and probably needed a welfare check more than a warning. 1
babulator Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I cant believe I just worked 9 hours came home and read this entire thread. I need help. 😕 2

I wonder if he is still under the delusion that some day he might change somebody’s mind on something? 1 minute ago, babulator said: I cant believe I just worked 9 hours came home and read this entire thread. I have 1,400 posts since 2006… I feel so, so, unheard… Man, now that we signed Chubb, I bet Kelly to Allen has more posts this week than I do in 20 years. I need to reorganize my priorities…

Billsatlastin2018 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 About this, it warms my soul that I’m not the only poster who has been cautioned, warned and been suspended for not insignificant periods of time by Simon. I did wonder. Mine relates to a specific subject that I can no longer discuss here. Not something dissimilar from many, but I do admit that I can rev up as a bit of a hardline a-hole with certain opinions about certain subjects. In any case, I never approached 200 posts per day… on anything! 🤪😆 So, the thinking from the Mods here is clearly towards the take a breath and let others post on stuff. That would be my advice, should the plank have not been cut off already behind you. 1
Breakout Squad Posted March 11 Posted March 11 It would be incredible for TBD to rent out a convention center with an open bar 🍺😆 2
