He let it get to his head a bit I think, which I think is lame, but to each his own. You don't know how much or how little somebody has in their life, and this could be all he has. He's also extremely status sensitive, which makes it worse. So if you feel it's weird, he might even feel threatened by you in some strange way. People are weird. What bothers me about him is he spams the forum himself, gets up on the soapbox with his borderline controversial opinions, and then wants to moderate and play judge, jury, and executioner. To me it's either one or the other. Either be a moody poster or be a mod, you shouldn't be both. It's a bad look. Don't make references to political things, and then suspend people who make overt references. Rules for thee but not for me. The community here will ALWAYS side with a mod publicly, so public call outs won't go the way you want, even if you're 100% in the right, which you may or may not be, I don't know. It's just a status quo rule around forums. They'll gang up on you. My thoughts, and I'll say this because I don't care if I get suspended, the forum is better off with a different (and better) moderator. 4 1 1
