dave mcbride Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Fully agree with @Virgil -- excellent deal for both sides. $44 million per seems perfectly fine for a QB of Jones's caliber. Quote
Kelly to Allen Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Gettleman doesn't look too bad now ... Everyone made fun of him for drafting Daniel Jones. He's honestly pretty good 1 Quote
boyst Posted March 11 Posted March 11 What's gonna happen with Richardson or did something already and I just don't pay attention? Quote

Albany,n.y. Posted March 11 Posted March 11 42 minutes ago, boyst said: What's gonna happen with Richardson or did something already and I just don't pay attention? He's guaranteed close to $5.4 million & has a cap hit of over $10 million to the Colts even if he's cut or stays. They'll either cut him or mothball him on the bench. Nobody is trading for him unless he restructures the last year & gives up his roster bonus in order to facilitate a trade. Also, since he's on the last year of his contract, he has virtually no trade value. At this point most if not all of the league views him as a bust with little long term upside if they have to pay him anything more than the minimum. https://overthecap.com/player/anthony-richardson/10828 3 Quote

13 Seconds to Mars Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I was really fascinated in Daniel Jones redemption and curious to see how far those Colts would’ve went. That division is no joke. Quote
HomeTeam Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I think Sam Darnolds success has helped Daniel Jones here. He seems like a stand up dude, so I'm wishing him all the success. 1 Quote
H2o Posted March 11 Posted March 11 (edited) On Amazon if any one wants to purchase. By the up and coming Author, Daniel Jones. Edited March 11 by H2o Quote
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Read the fine print on the deal. A second Achilles tendon tear or limb breakage allows Jones to be taken out behind the barn, and put out of his misery. Quote
skibum Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Good money for him, short term for the Clots if he flames out. Quote

BullBuchanan Posted March 11 Posted March 11 To think Daniel Jones has now conned 2 teams out of $40M AAV deals. When his career is over, he and Kirk Cousins should open a consultant firm as negotiators. 1 Quote
