NewEra Posted March 11 Posted March 11 (edited) With Josh’s restructuring freeing up 40M, one has to think Crosby is the target here, no? The price tag will be marginally lower now and the raiders have to move him. I think we give up next years first and a day 3 pick this year.…which could be an overpay considering the circumstances. Either that, or the eagles get him for a 2nd. if this money is to sign Bradley Chubb to a big deal, I’ll be disappointed. I like the player, but not to a huge deal. edit: let the record show- I don’t approve of trading next years 1st. I hope we don’t. I just think that’s what Beane will do if we swing a trade for him edit 2.0: I made this thread after reading Joe Marinos text stating that we had freed up 40M on his restructure, rather than 12M. Now that it’s only 12M, I don’t think we’ll be trading for him Edited March 11 by NewEra 1 Quote
Blank Stare Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Let’s give them this year’s second round pick! Raiders are so pissed right now, maybe we can fool them. 7 1 Quote
Yobogoya! Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Offer a 3rd and a 5th and tell the Raiders we'll make Baltimore pay for their treachery on the battlefield. 2 4 2 Quote

Whatever he does, he had better not trade the 2027 first. Trade this year's first. That makes the draft boring for us to watch, but this year's draft is a lot weaker than next year's. 1 5 Quote
Kelly No huddle Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I don't know it's a really messed up situation Even though we all know his knee is probably fine the perception is that the value is down, and the raiders probably feel completely screwed Meaning they're just going to probably hang onto him hoping they can get two number ones again if there's an injury or something It's a messed up situation Quote
MikePJ76 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 fingers crossed nothing. I am begging them not to make me have to root for this guy. Quote
NoSaint Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I keep thinking about a 27 or 28 pick tied to snap count as the way to work through this. 1 this year 3 next that can turn to a 2 raiders can say a 1-2 was the second best offer behind 1-1 the whole time…. But it’s now a low 1 and a could be 2 just a “for example,” not firm on that 1 1 Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 (edited) I don’t love trading next years first given these perceived strength of the WR class to grab the heir apparent to develop behind Moore. Think I’d rather it be this years first personally. This years first and next years 2nd for Crosby and their 2nd this year. Edited March 11 by Alphadawg7 3 Quote

Sweats Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I'd take Crosby for this year's 1st and maybe our 3rd but wouldn't go anywhere near our picks for next year's draft. 1 2 Quote
SoonerBillsFan Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Nothing. At this point let him sit and LV sit with him. Talk to them in July about a 3rd rounder in 27' and maybe one in 28'. Unrealistic I know, but if his knee has an issue, let it heal before making any attempt at a trade. And Right now LV still thinks he is worth two 1sts is my guess 1 Quote

Nope, we have too many needs and we need to see what the REAL deal is with his Knee. Personally I think its Baltimore being *****, but who knows 1 Quote
