Hope they enjoy Hendrickson, because they ruined their reputation to get him

I love what they did! 100%. That's business. They got the man they wanted - they wanted either of them. Maxx failed his exam. There are NFL standards and the league HAS to approve the exam. So not sure what everyone is whining about.

So now, maxx can be had for much less, if he passes the exam, or if a team accepts the failed grade.

Ravens made out like bigtime winners.

Lol right.  They won by playing chess when everyone else was playing checkers?  And no team in the league will trust them.  And no player will truly know where they stand.  Sure, that’s a great price to pay for their perceived difference between Crosby, Hendrickson, draft picks and some $.

should thought of that before trashing your reputation.  Its  $#@! Move and everyone knows it

Hey, I agree. But what do they care, as they now have their draft picks back, along with a top pass rusher. Once the season starts, no fan will care. Other teams will be very leery, though.

These aren't high school GM's man - "No team will trust" them is kinda cheesy. Of course they will. It's a boys club. Big business. I bet half the owners and GM's applauded this move.

I don't think the Ravens do this if Hendrickson wasn't sitting there unsigned.  They had such an obvious choice, its like they traded Crosby for Hendrickson and their 1st rounders back.

Why didn't someone pay Hendrickson the money before the Ravens?  I can't stand the Ravens.

If this is the reason they renigged on the Crosby trade than the NFL but take away the picks.

They did nothing wrong.  How about teams stop agreeing to trades before the league year opens.  I bet the league is loving this.

20 mins might be a stretch but unless we sign Chubb quickly I agree that AJE will be back by midnight.

He still needs to be released.

And I’m telling you, this is who we’ve been targeting.

Somebody, somewhere in Baltimore sudenly grew a brain...why send two first-round picks for a 31-year-old guy when you can spend only money for one?

31?  i thought he was 46!

for the record, he turns 29 two weeks before the kick off game of the 2026 season.  his contract would be for his age 29, 30, and 31 seasons.

How do the Ravens have this kind of money with Lamar under contract? Wtf is Bean doing wrong they we can’t do something like this?

The Ravens are going dirt cheap on O-Line and WR (Zay Flowers still on rookie contract).

It'll be interesting to see if it works out for them. I don't think any other contending teams allocate their salary cap in this manner.

Are the Ravens scum for this, yes.

Do I agree with what they did, also yes.

To be able to get the same caliber of player and keep your 1sts, let the league hate me.

If they thought Hendrickson was out of their price point, but then realized he wasn’t, I get it.

Yes, they screwed over a lot of people, but if it works for them, worth it.

Kyle Brandt going off on the Ravens, says he’s concerned because Hendrickson coming off an injury as well and Baltimore has a very discerning medical staff lol

Morning shows basically just roasting Baltimore all morning.

It's like when the Patriots played to the rules because of loopholes.

Obviously I'm not talking about optics.

Reputation with other GMs, that most likely won't deal with them again. Duh

Who tf said optics?

He was always going to be their target - something fell through after the Crosby trade that Hendrickson didn’t want.  Or a team interested in him balked.

That opened the door for Baltimore again.

You know what it also was?  Losing Linderbaum who they probably thought they’d be keeping for much less then he got.

The Ravens are not a better team then last years group at the moment.  Not even close.
