That must have been back before chunks of him started falling off onto the field. Good player but there's only been 2 times in his 7 years that he's managed to start more than 11 games. I think it’d likely make sense i agree he’s speculating but dare I ask: did Greenlaw where the green dot? he strikes me as a guy that could instill a bit of the culture and expectations with the unit very quickly. I don't know about that. But Greenlaw not only fits a need - he fits Beane's M.O. to a T. Beane is all about buying low. And less than a year removed from signing a 3 year, 35m contract, he finds himself cut after 1 injury plagued season where he also served a suspension. He'll likely not come close to the contract he signed last season bc of it and could easily outplay it. Beane also loves to sign cuts that don't affect the Comp formula.
