The NFL's leading rusher isn't an elite playmaker?  I guess we need to establish the definition.  Josh give the Bills a far greater chance to get to the bowl. Is it impossible with his backup?  Can the Bills NOT win any games unless Josh is behind center? 

IMO, the odds are against it, but I'm not ready to throw in the towel if a sub has to step in. You never know.

Clearly Josh is flexing his power more this offseason. There’s no other way to interpret it other than, “Josh wanted this.” That I’m okay with. I suppose I’m talking out of both sides of my mouth a little. I just wish that it could have been something like, “here’s a list of guys that we’d like to get as QB2. If we are not successful at our number, we will bring back Kyle. We’ve asked his agent to not sign anything without speaking to us first. Is that good by you?” I doubt that he would have pushed back on that but who knows. 

Fun fact about Kyle Allen that might be modestly relevant to his return to the Bills: after Cam Newton went down in early 2019, he started 12 games for Carolina that year. In those 12 games, Allen connected with DJ Moore 70 times for 1,009 yards (14.4 ypr). Over a 17-game season, that extrapolates to 99 catches and 1,345 yards.
