Virgil Posted March 9 Posted March 9 (edited) With his deep threat and punt return ability, I was hoping to see him sign here. The 15 per isn’t so bad, but that’s a lot of guaranteed money. I think a combo of him, Shakir, and Moore would have been huge for Josh. Edited March 10 by Virgil 1 2 1 Quote
H2o Posted March 9 Posted March 9 That's a nice chunk for him. We weren't coming off of that for him. 1 1 Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted March 9 Posted March 9 No way were spending that - good for him, SB win and an over sized payday. I like him, liked the idea of him here, thought we would have interest given we did at trade deadline, but not at that price. Once we got Moore, figured Thornton or Cooks was more realistic or a day 3 draft pick to finish off the room. 2 1 Quote

Which is a complimentary WR. But I guess when you've got JSN under a Rookie deal, you can do that. But they're going to have to pay him sooner rather than later too. Quote
NoSaint Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Ultimately shaheed at 17 is why Moore at 23 cost a better than expected pick getting a complete WR1 instead of a complementary role player for modestly more money costs picks 2 3 Quote
jkeerie Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Considering Seattle gave up 4th and 5th round picks for him last year, I expected Seattle would want to extend him rather than let him walk. Quote
wppete Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Focus on finding a downfield threat WR in the draft. These prices for WRs right now are insane. 1 Quote

Chicken Boo Posted March 9 Posted March 9 3 yr $34.x mill Good for him. Seattle has to find a way to get him more involved. Quote
