For 2024 comp picks we spent that entire year thinking we would get a 3rd for Tremaine Edmunds. Ultimately we received a 4th. Beane argued that the NFL was looking at Edmunds contract incorrectly and screwed us over with the comp pick formula. The 49ers were in the same boat as us and both teams complained to the league about it. I never heard any updates after that so looks like it never went anywhere Quote
