HappyDays Posted March 7 Author Posted March 7 I'm on record as not thinking any defensive player is worth two 1st round picks. So I would not have made this trade. That being said it is annoying that we have to face Baltimore this season while New England gets to play Pittsburgh. 25 1 8 2 3 3 Quote

When the thread was posted about Vegas wanting 2 1st Round Picks for him, people laughed. But that's exactly what they got. Personally, I'd rather pay a small fortune for Trey Hendrickson than spend a 2026 1st and a 2027 1st plus a small fortune for Maxx Crosby. I don't think there's going to be too many posters upset that we didn't pay 2 1sts for Crosby. Especially when it would cost us more than even that bc the Ravens gave up 14 this year. NoSaint Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Don’t love the news but two firsts and passing on a massive free agent signing too is a steep price. hes a very good player but they are missing out on probably a couple very good ones to land him 1 1 Quote

I mostly agree with you, except I'd trade 2 easily for Garrett Edited March 7 by Gambit 1 10 Quote
Process Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Ravens are picking 14 too, not end of first round like they usually are. That's a lot to give up for a defender. I would not be happy if the Bills made that trade. 5 6 Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Two first firsts for a pass rusher in a league where the QBs can’t get hit and get rid of the ball in 2 seconds. My lord 1 Quote

The 14th overall pick at that. This is not a good draft class but they were picking in the range where legit 1st round talents may have still been available. Good on the Raiders for making this happen. By the time they have any kind of chance of being contenders again Crosby will be at least 31. They can use this haul to come away with probably four blue chippers over the next two drafts and prepare for the future. Getting their franchise QB and a legit talent right after him is a nice jump start for the Kubiak era. 2 3 Quote
YoloinOhio Posted March 7 Posted March 7 I predict this wont move the needle on their “proverbial playoff wall” 4 9 1 Quote

SoonerBillsFan Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Smells of desperation by ownership. We can still beat them, esp. We upgrade our defense. 2 1 Quote
