I can’t imagine where any of those guys would play down on the line in our front. I guess we will find out but I’m guessing the DEs are much more likely to be the 91/96/98 type. Quote

I don't see Walker at 330# with a 5.3-5.4 40 time - playing much DE in a 3-4? I think he's a nose or a hybrid in a exotic front that Leonhardt is known to use. Oliver and Sanders yes, but they are 280 - 295 - Ed ran a 4.7 Sanders a 4.95 - 4.99. At 6-7 Walker will need to work on technique to get his pad level lower at Nose. Quote

I think you have the workings of a very interesting front if you use these guys in a certain way Quote

BigAl2526 Posted March 7 Posted March 7 I can see Walker getting some reps at nose, but I think he'll also get plenty of reps at defensive end. I think nose tackle is one of the areas Buffalo will address this off season. Of course, some here have proposed that NT in this defense may not be the typical 330 lb 6' tall fire hydrant whose job is simply to tie up blockers and clog the middle. It's been alleged that Ed Oliver could actually be a fit for the kind of nose tackle that Jim Leonhard wants. For now, it's just one of the interesting issues of the current off season. We'll see what it looks like in September. Quote
