Few would've complained about the contract if Von’s production was even close to his level of play before the injury.

If… well we know he wasn’t effective beyond 11 games and that contract was massive for an aging player heading into a likely decline because of it, it was a bad contract!

By this logic, any contract is bad if the player gets hurt. When is the cut off on age?  How do you explain many players earning their full contract well into their thirties?  You may be mad that Von got hurt, but up until that play, he was earning his contract.

He was older when signed to a lengthy BIG contract, that’s inherently risky. He was 33 and signed to a 6 year $120m contract.  You see no issue with that… ?

The average NFL edge player typically begins to see a decline in production and physical ability around the age of 30 +/-  with a more significant "age cliff" often occurring at 32 / 33.

Von Miller’s NFL career had been marked by significant lower-body injuries, most notably two major right knee ACL tears (2013, 2022) and a 2020 ankle tendon dislocation.  After the ‘22/23 injury with the Bills he never had an impact.

to be fair, it was never really a 6 year deal. If you are arguing from that stance you are either lying or don’t understand the topic.

To be realistic it was a bad contract!  I’ve been crystal clear as to my stance.

The dude was 33 yo &  had prior injuries. Face it we inked an old guy based on glory days. Most players are aging out as an edge at that age. Proof was in the pudding, he was done after 11 games and never the same.

So you can take your lying or don’t understand comment and ……..
