And I say that as a huge fan of Hoss. That what you have to weigh. Do you bet on Kincaid staying healthy? If so, you’re fine at TE. If he gets hurt and you let Knox go you’re a little thin. Hawes moves into a starting role and whoever else you add fills in. You can make it work IMO with the improved WR room. You won’t have a massive threat at TE but Hawes isn’t Lee Smith. He can be a part time target. You can throw to the backs and WRs. He’s an elite blocker. It’s a gamble to let Knox go but if I am picking from having McGovern back or Knox back, I am picking McGovern. That might not be the right answer but it’s how I feel. 1 Quote

BillyJoeBills Posted March 6 Posted March 6 What a wasted talent, but he got his money and more pension time in. Please Mr Beane, no more Curtis Samuels, how many more WR misses can you give us? And don’t even mention Chase Claypool Quote

At the same time I feel like they were forced to sign hin because of diggs wanting out. yup - felt very reasonable. Didn’t work. not sure if more to the story but on the surface this one just feels like bad luck. Established vet and history with the coordinator? None of us thought it would tank THAT badly. Quote

Not that it's something a team wants to be competitive in but Chargers and 49ers felt like they were in trench warfare in WW1 not football Quote
Mr. WEO Posted March 6 Posted March 6 lol Brady telling Beane to ditch all these bums he stuffed into the WR room 1 Quote
billsfan89 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Samuel was such a disappointment, he wasn’t a major signing but he should have been at the least a quality WR4 who flexed all around the field. He flashed here and there but he just couldn’t stay healthy. This was a penciled in move to get the Bills 6+ million in cap relief no surprise here 1 Quote

I didn’t like that contract from the get go given his age, it was a BAD contract! Edited March 6 by Mod_Squad_Reject Quote
