If it’s a pay cut, how much will it be? I’ve been team pay cut but I’m leaning towards release. You can sign Mike Evans for the cap savings of releasing Knox. Knox was a very effective player last year. I think he's one of those players who has gotten better with age. 2 2 Quote

He’s a really good player and has a role. Even with pay cut, I can’t see a $10M+ cap hit on a 2nd TE. That is especially true with Hawes on the roster plenty capable of filling a lot of that role. Knox is a luxury. You could cut him and bring McGovern back for that cost (for example). It’s a matter of what else you sacrifice to have Knox on the team. 1 2 Quote

Tyler Higbee just re upped with the Rams for 2 year's 8M (4 per season). Higbee is 4 years older. I’d reckon Knox gets an extension that keeps him in Buffalo for 3 more years at around 6-7M per year, although i’m hoping that number is less. Beane takes care of his guys, often too much so 2 Quote

At the same time I feel like they were forced to sign hin because of diggs wanting out. Loved the signing too. It looked perfect on paper. I thought Curtis Samuel would be our Deebo Samuel-lite. Despite the injuries, Brady wasn’t able to get very creative w/ a versatile player like him when he actually was on the field. Edited March 6 by ChronicAndKnuckles Quote

Bruffalo Posted March 6 Posted March 6 (edited) It's a shame he didn't work out, I had high hopes and liked him prior to the Bills signing. Edited March 6 by Bruffalo 1 1 Quote

I mean in his 5 years as a healthy starter between Car and Was he averaged almost 800 total yards a season. Felt like a nice speedy complimentary piece. But he just couldn't get on the field enough. We saw some of his potential in his first years playoffs though, but health issues again this year. This was a move that had to be done, and was expected. 1 Quote

And I say that as a huge fan of Hoss. 1 Quote
