Put Diggs face on a Missing: poster. It's amazing how many people here don't realize that Diggs is washed up. He's steadily lost speed and is now basically a very good slot receiver. Even in his last season with the Bills he only averaged 11.1 yards per reception. In the two seasons since then he's averaged 10.6 and 11.9. He averaged 7.9 yards per reception in 4 playoff games this year. We don't need another Kahlil Shakir. We also don't need a guy with a history of disappearing in the playoffs. 2 3 3 Quote

Keep in mind Shady has connections in the Bills organization and reportedly got along very well with his young QB when he was in Buffalo, told him he was gonna be a big star and he needed to up his swag game, told the fans "he's going to be great, you'll see" You could even see it on the sidelines. Those two went from being best buds to not really interacting outside of outbursts from Diggs occasionally. 1 Quote

I have said numerous times, and now dunne reported that things weren't so great with Allen and McDermott. They didn't have this great relationship I really bet, in his heart of hearts, Josh really knew who Stefon was and he really didn’t have a lot in common with him. Quote

Captain Murica Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Shocking, the honeymoon only lasted one season. He’s washed and not worth the contract he probably thinks he deserves. New England needs wide receivers just as bad as we do and they were willing to cut bait after one season. I can’t believe some people actually want him back here. 2 1 Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted March 5 Posted March 5 When we lost to the Pats there was a lot of complaints about us not having the weapons NE had. Which is hilarious considering their 2 best WRs were guys we ran outta town and they barely moved the ball in the playoffs. Now this guy is available and nobody wants him lol Beane can’t win here. The squeaky wheel doesn’t even want the grease. We have a room full of C- WRs but score at will. People complain about needing WRs, when good ones become available nobody wants to give up anything or pay but then when another list of mids come out we want them? Rasheed Shaheed? Romeo Doubs lol Guys that catch 25 balls a year. Pick a spot Quote
StarlessAndBibleBills Posted March 5 Posted March 5 He was useful until he was useless. By the time Diggs baby-wailed his way out of Buffalo, I didn't care. And I agree with some posters in that he is spent as a high-impact player. Quote
DCofNC Posted March 5 Posted March 5 After he developed Maye the same way he did Allen? This is unreal. 3 1 Quote
sleeby Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Funny that they aren't even going to try and trade him - just cut him and not look back Quote

He managed to alienate several in the administrative offices as well, especially a few women. They jettisoned him despite the $31m in dead money if they cut or traded him prior to June 1st, which they did. Like Kromer’s daughter said when the trade went down, “Good riddance.” She was not alone in holding that opinion. Diggs is TOXIC. The Vikings locker room interview where EVERYONE named Diggs as the player they would LEAST likely want dating their sister should’ve been a massive red flag. 😂 1 Quote
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted March 5 Posted March 5 I've heard of him. Beane, asleep at the wheel! 1 Quote

The discrepancy isn't what you think it is. Josh is better, but if NE is offering more money with a young and upcoming team with lots of cap space for organization that has a the trophy case it does, well Josh may not be enough to lure guys here for less. Point is, someone said NE better not have a better offseason...my response is they easily can becasue they have a lot more money to spend on more players. I wasn't advocating for them to do anything, just saying its pretty easy to see how NE on paper could have a better offseason given they can be more aggressive in adding players in FA or trade. How much cap room do the Patriots have compared to the bills if both teams pull every lever because the bills cap situation is much better than people think Quote
Chandler#81 Posted March 5 Posted March 5 He was fantastic for us his 1st 3 years, but now I wouldn’t take him if he offered to play for FREE! 2 Quote
