Some would say the Pats made it to the SB and Josh hasn't. I'm not trying to be snarky, but who was it on the broncos that said basically Josh can't get it done when it matters?  If that's what players are starting to believe, and im Not saying they all are, but we could see players wanting to play with the "new hit team".

Let me clarify what I meant by that comment in a bit more detail.. I mean that if Alec Pierce's market value is $20M/year and New England wants to pay him $30M/year let them.. I think if New England and Buffalo got into a bidding war, we are probably talking about a fraction of the cost in terms of the overall financial disparity (most likely)....

And in response to your comment, the Patriots had a softer schedule and they got absolutely destroyed in the Super Bowl.. And Drake Maye was a big reason why they lost so bad in the first place.. And typically teams that lose in the Super Bowl have hangovers the year after...

I think Buffalo is in a prime position to takeover. I also think our coaching staff going into 2026 is better than its been in years prior, especially in comparison to what McD has ever been able to put together during his time here..

Honestly I'll admit I was mad at him but yes. The dude is a frickin warrior

Plus we're going to draft a wr early and diggs can mentor him. Someone like concepcion or Skyler Bell

You peaked at your Reunited post....

Drop the Mike and walk away!

Diggs won’t be allowed back in the building, regardless of what Josh wants.

That $31 million cap charge, did not go away. If we were willing to sacrifice that amount of cash to get rid of Diggs, I doubt that the Bills would sign him, for the Vet min.

Beef with the coach was just the tip of iceberg. He managed to alienate several in the administrative offices as well, especially a few women. They jettisoned him despite the $31m in dead money if they cut or traded him prior to June 1st, which they did. Like Kromer’s daughter said when the trade went down, “Good riddance.” She was not alone in holding that opinion.

The guy is a dirtbag. That's clear. He's not even one of those fun dirtbags where you're like "oh man, that guy sucks but he's always got me laughing".

He's just a flat out dirtbag who sucks the air and attention out of every room.

He stinks.

Q: When did Diggs production drop off while rumors of his discontent ramped up?

A: When Joe Brady took over for the fired Ken Dorsey

Q: What are the most specific things Diggs has said about his reasons for agitating for a trade?

A: Strongly implied his production dropped off because of Brady's gameplans for the offense

Q: Who is still in Buffalo, and likely to have a strong input on the Bills offense?

A: Joe Brady

That would be "hell to the Nah" on Diggs even before we learn the result of his pre-trial hearing on April 1 (No Cap, it's really scheduled for April 1).

I thought it was apparent that there was a significant rift between him and Allen as well.

On one of the Football Talk type programs discussing the Bills releasing him, someone said "whatever the relationship between Diggs and Allen was like" and Shady McCoy cut in with "It was bad, it was bad".  Keep in mind Shady has connections in the Bills organization and reportedly got along very well with his young QB when he was in Buffalo, told him he was gonna be a big star and he needed to up his swag game, told the fans "he's going to be great, you'll see"

I sure hope they slump. They've got the means to get some heavy hitters that could make the difference this year. I have drought PTSD and the Pats are a huge part of that. I just can't stand seeing them be "successful". They sure did ride a lot of luck last season. I see what you're saying financially as well.

Yes, I made that comment while watching the Superbowl.   3 rec for 37 yds; Mack Hollins more receptions and more than 2x the yards.  Put Diggs face on a Missing: poster.

We don’t need another slot, although it would be good to have a guy who can get open on 3rd and 7.

But no way in hell, vibes are terrible, his interpersonal skills are garbage, and he can’t play under playoff pressure.

Just because they can, it doesn't mean they should..

I think there comes a point of equilibrium where it makes no sense to pay someone beyond "X" amount..

We're probably talking about $2M-$3M in disparity at the most..

Do you want to play with Josh? Or do you want to play with Drake Maye??

Drake Maye throws a better deep ball, is on a rookie contract, was MVP runner up in his 2nd season.  The discrepancy isn't what you think it is.  Josh is better, but if NE is offering more money with a young and upcoming team with lots of cap space for organization that has a the trophy case it does, well Josh may not be enough to lure guys here for less.

Point is, someone said NE better not have a better offseason...my response is they easily can becasue they have a lot more money to spend on more players.  I wasn't advocating for them to do anything, just saying its pretty easy to see how NE on paper could have a better offseason given they can be more aggressive in adding players in FA or trade.

im in the middle of the road on this..

On one hand.. this was a McD issue with Diggs.

On the other hand he gave Josh Allen some great years.

He forces defenses to have to pay attention.

Every year he was here and we had a speedster on the other side made it some amazing games passing the ball... Till we got Davis and turned out to be a dreadful player on the other side of Diggs cause Davis was the wrong type of #2 we needed...

Because of that it started to feel like it was forced to Diggs cause the other side of the field was not getting it done.

Now is a different situation... We got an offensive minded HC with future troubles at OL..  Remember how we handled this before? Speed on one side.. Diggs on the other.. Now that Shakir is looking much better.. and we got a DOG for a RB...  Im inclined to say yes to bringing Diggs back if The dude named JA says yes.. and IF.. we get Better Quality speed on the left. cause at that point.. now think about this people.. We will have multiple ways of attacking the field with an OC having a proven track record of running an offense.

The complaint was the same complaint and issues NE had.. lacking speed on the other side.. and their RB was not the greatest.

This would open the Entire field for us and TBH.. in a way this would excite me....

I see the drama but sorry.. every elite WR brings a bit of it... I still think the sideline argument was about how the offense was being run.. Diggs was getting upset over it.... and JA just said.. now is not the time.

Im being honest on this one.. im torn.
