So in the case of the two above, one of them, think it was Ogunjobi, the Bills didn't know was getting suspended. In Diggs case to, he already has somewhat of a checkered past, so what are the odds he doesn't even do more stupid stuff. If he's suspended for 4 games, he'll have plenty of free time to do even more. Think a bit less risk with repeat PED's and add to that in Diggs case, he's a guy who's already been dodging bullets WRT a suspension. Agree the Bills need a legit #1, but they also have Shakir, Palmer, Coleman, and Shavers. So that's 4 plus adding a legit #1, you're up to 5 which is sometimes what the Bills carried and some year, they went with 6, but the 6th guy never dressed and the 5th guy needs to play ST extensively. So which of the above is playing ST and has any experience at it? Every team needs a Shavers type as he's low cost and does play ST. Unless they can get a decent return or he looks horrid over the summer, doubtful Coleman goes anywhere as right now he has little to any trade value. Maybe if the Bills make some big trade, they may throw Coleman in on the deal, but otherwise would be surprised to see him go anywhere. Or maybe Palmer gets thrown in some deal, but unless that happens, the numbers don't support adding 3. Think there's a decent spot a WR spot may come down to Shavers or Coleman, but a decent chance Shavers may not be ready in September, so that may create a temporary spot. Even bringing in guys that get cut at end of camp cost money against the cap unless they had no signing bonus which is very rare in todays NFL. So you really don't want to be signing guys only to cut them. It makes little sense to sign guys if you don't have a roster spot Quote

BillsFanForever19 Posted March 4 Posted March 4 (edited) I know I'm in the extreme minority, but if not for the multiple off the field issues over the past year (the pink powder video and the legal issues from assaulting his chef), i'd have been all for bringing him back.
