Anyone travelling in to Pittsburgh for the upcoming draft?

I'm in the Burgh, unfortunately away on that Thur/Friday for work --- but bought the Main Theatre tickets for Saturday.

Assuming we will have a sizeable "Mafia" crowd, always do in Pitt

I’m not going to make it but enjoy!!

I went to day 3 in Cleveland a few years ago with my brother-in-law. We kept moving closer and I got all excited as the Bills were on the clock (only remember seeing them make one pick in the few hours we stayed). A fan steps up to the microphone and I am locked in!! “With the 161st pick, the Buffalo Bills select - Tommy Doyle, Offensive Tackle, Miami of Ohio.” Back to the beer garden we walked and that’s my fondest memory of Tommy Doyle.

Where did you get the tickets? I have put in the request with NFL One Pass, thought that was the only way to purchase. Thank you in advance

I’m going for the first time with my buddy. Excited to see what the draft experience is like. Going to stay until Monday to see the best mlb stadium in the league, pnc park too

I was thinking about it before.  Would be a fun time.  But right now I'm more locked in with the Sabres finally making it into the playoffs that I don't want to chance going away for that weekend.

I'll be there. This will be my 25th draft, but my first time visiting Pittsburgh.

Arriving on Wednesday, and leaving on Monday. Staying about 20-30 minutes away from the stadium in Monaca.

I’m as huge a draft guy as there is and if it was still the 90s in an auditorium with seating where I could see everything I’d be all in on doing it yearly.

Now that it is an outdoor venue where I might barely or not see the stage at all I have zero interest in being a mile away from the draft process nor spending thousands of dollars on VIP seating so I could stand in a mosh pit when I can sit at home and get 3 days of coverage and analyzing of picks

Yeah the price for the VIP seating definitely a money grab.

$3,500 for Thurs

$1,750 for Friday

$700 for Saturday

All-inclusive (food/drink), not on the floor but individual seating near stage.

Yeah it's a "once in a lifetime" thing to go all in for the VIP, especially Thursday.  Saturday isn't a bad deal, but also rounds 4-7

Live here, def planning on going.

Iron City beer is available on tap, but it's not great.  Lots of good micro-breweries around here.  Also Yuengling widely available.

See as a guy who evaluates every year I’d likely choose Saturday. Cheapest day, less people care in general and it’s a scouts day so I’d be down for that more and Saturday is the longest day so I’d get the most bang for my buck on food and drink
