I know it’s short sighted, but we need to win now!!!! I would take a flier on him in RD4 or later.. Quote

Lance Zierlein's report: No surprise, we are looking at LBs that are pure athletes more than cerebral players. I think Leonhard just wants guys in the 2nd level that can get after it and he won't put as much on their plate as McDermott did. Chenal still fits the bill if we can afford him and maybe Dorian Williams will benefit too. I love we are looking at LB's. Need 3 1 1 Quote

I’d like to think round 4 but Nick Martin, a LB I liked last year who didn’t have the same size speed profile went in the compensatory picks of the 3rd last year 1 Quote

SoonerBillsFan Posted March 5 Posted March 5 What I want to see is a couple LB's at 250 or so brought in for the inside backer positions 3 Quote

NeverOutNick Posted March 5 Posted March 5 On 3/3/2026 at 9:58 AM, SoonerBillsFan said: Ill tell you what. Ill amend my previous post to this... Trade for DJ Moore who had over 1100 yards for Brady in Carolina, bring back Cooks, and we can draft a WR in the 2nd or 3rd round. No way around it,we must have at least 1 new starter at outside WR that isnt on this team. On 3/3/2026 at 10:10 AM, NeverOutNick said: I’m good with that lol Honestly, if we can get DJ Moore for like a third round pick that would be amazing. And Brandin cooks on a cheap one year deal works for me and there’s a lot of big wide receivers in the draft like Malachi Fields who’s gonna fall because of his 40 time but is the best deep ball tracking wide receiver in this draft 4 minutes ago, SoonerBillsFan said: 😀 @NeverOutNick Holy Crap... I called it !!! 😂 now predict we get Maxx Crosby or Hendrickson and that we draft a couple WRs in this draft 1 Quote

HappyDays Posted March 5 Author Posted March 5 DT from Oklahoma, projected as a 3rd round pick. Lance Zierlein's scouting summary: Quote An undersized 3-technique with disruptive attributes, Halton is best suited for a rotational role in a movement-based front. He plays with synced hands and feet and good lateral agility. His initial quickness makes him quite slippery but a centered block can clear him from the run lane due to his lack of mass/anchor. He’s an energetic, gap-to-gap rusher who can threaten guards on their edges or play his role as an effective twister. Finding the right scheme fit will be critical for Halton in the NFL. Quote

Does that mean they are looking at guys after a trade down scenario? Quote
HappyDays Posted March 23 Author Posted March 23 (edited) Well this tells you they are seriously considering WR at #26 if nothing else. Concepcion has medical concerns too so makes sense to bring him in. Lance Zierlein's summary: Quote Concepcion offers immediate burst and separation into space. He’s elusive in beating press and getting into breaks with minimum damage from handsy coverage. While he has a one-speed approach, he can snap off routes with alarming suddenness, making him extremely difficult to match at leveraged break points. He’s instinctive against zone. He’s also a nightmare for man coverage on choice routes and near the goal line. He’s quicker than fast, with more value on utility throws utilizing run after catch. Concepcion’s ability to quickly uncover should be very appealing to teams with spotty protection and a young quarterback. Edited March 23 by HappyDays 1 2 Quote
HappyDays Posted March 23 Author Posted March 23 Oh and I missed this one: Lance Zierlein's summary: Quote Rolder’s instincts and run-game consistency make it hard to believe he was only a one-year starter in college. He plays low and leveraged with violent hands to shock and slip off blocks. He finds the best routes to the run gap and maneuvers around traffic with efficiency to tighten angles to the ball-carrier. He plays with good awareness and change of direction in space but has average pursuit speed and coverage talent. Few linebackers in this draft finish tackles with the technique and consistency he displays. If you trust the tape and ignore his lack of experience, Rolder profiles as a future starting inside linebacker. 2 Quote

The good news to me, is that they realize the job isn’t done. I don’t love this class but they need a starter still. I’d rather trade the pick (plus more) to try to get MHJ if you want to address WR. I want a guy that could be a number 1 (and at worst is a solid 2). While he is already a couple years into his rookie contract he’s still relatively cost controlled. If he starts to touch his ceiling you’re elite at WR. With all that being said, Concepcion feels like the type of WR that has success with Josh. Josh likes to throw to guys that are open. Dane Brugler in his pre-combine top 100 ranked him as the 53rd best prospect and here was his blurb on him: Bell passes the eye test with his size and acceleration, and he displays the versatility to be both a bully possession target and run-after-catch weapon. He was about 20 spots higher in the rankings before suffering a torn ACL in December, an injury which will sideline him for the entire draft process and, potentially, the start of the 2026 NFL season. 1 Quote
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted March 23 Posted March 23 (edited) I'd love for them to get Concepcion. Our offense will be ridiculous to stop if we added a weapon like him. He's a bit different type than we currently have with his elite separation ability, and don't forget the return ability. Edited March 23 by D. L. Hot-Flamethrower 3 1 Quote
