Pass for me. I appreciate Joe’s effort but he missed the mark.

- There’s no way that Moore and then Raymond are the only WRs added. I think that they draft one before settling for Raymond over the summer. I also think that’s more than DJ Moore goes for in the trade market. A 4th and 7th for Moore not a 3rd & 7th.

- Risner is staying put. I think that they sign an OL & draft a guy. Sean Rhyan has been my thought. Between Anderson/SVPG/Grable/FA, they’ll fill those 2 spots.
- Howell’s arm length would be a big change for how the Bills do things. I could see an edge at 26 but not him. TJ Parker maybe?

- I like Ponds as a player but the Bills don’t have the luxury of a slot CB in round 2. Between Taron, hopefully Cam and Hancock, they have enough options to get through 2026. They can work to get the long term guy in 2027. Pick 60 has to go elsewhere.
- Pass on Blankenship for me.
- Elliott is fine. There are a bunch of LBs in this draft.

For me, he didn’t do enough at WR or pass rush. I know those are expensive but needed to be more of a focus.

Beane needs to start hitting on picks. And if a player has health issues then that’s a bust IMO. Kincaid has been a major disappointment along with Coleman. Doesn’t matter the amount of resources you use if none of those picks are landing.

I don't agree on Kincaid. He's a tremendous talent and was clutch in the playoffs. But I do agree health is a concern

I think I read today that Dalton Risner is re-signing with the Bengals.

He must enjoy shi-t-t-y cafeteria food.

Got turned on to it when we lived in Charlotte. The restaurant owner was from Cinn.

I'm good with DJ Moore, but we need more at WR. Also, I'm of the belief if we don't come up with a guy on the edge who has to be honored, then we are in serious trouble. Things like inside LB, NT and FS are givens and can be addressed without breaking the bank.

Sign Evans, Hendrickson, and trade up to pick 6 for next years first.  Then take whoever is left from Bailey, Reese, Styles, Downs, or Tate.  That’s 3 potential pro bowlers and you keep the rest of your picks  this year.

Yes, if you mean two real starters, not WR4s like Palmer and Samuels. Does Beane have poor judgement, bad luck, or bad advice? Whatever it is, he needs to get it right this offseason. He's had too many subpar years.

I do mean two starters. If DJ Moore is one, fine. But the other needs to be a high draft pick. Concepcion, or Omar Cooper would look great in a Bills jersey. Then get a wr4 type guy to push Keon for reps.

Joe B's offseason plan: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7075936/2026/03/02/buffalo-bills-mock-offseason/.

Highlights (minus the salary cap machinations, which all seem reasonable, to get here):

pay cuts:

Dawson Knox and Taron Johnson

restructures before FA:

Allen, Rousseau, Oliver, Hoecht

Cuts:

Curtis Samuel and Taylor Rapp

Internal free agents to sign:

he provides the full list, but the only player he has the Bills re-signing is Trubisky

External offseason additions, pre-draft:

trade a 3rd (91st pick) and a 6th for DJ Moore

Sign LB Leo Chenal

Sign LG Dalton Risner

Sign S Reed Blankenship

Sign NT Khyiris Tonga

Sign CB Chidobe Awuzie

Draft:

1st - Cashius Howell, Edge/OLB, Texas A&M

2nd - D'Angelo Ponds, Nickel, Indiana

4th - Keyshaun Elliott, ILB, Arizona State

5th - Pat Coogan, IOL, Indiana

7th - Andre Fuller, DB, Toledo

7th - Brett Thorson, P, Georgia

Post-draft signings:

DL Levi Onwuzurike

S PJ Locke

WR Kalif Raymond

Mid-August contract extension:

O'Cyrus Torrence

So all that and the only WR is mediocre vet DJ Moore.  This is not a workable plan.

I still think something like Joe wrote is the way we are headed because Beane will make a WR at the deadline if required. Waddle...

I hate the idea of waiting till the deadline to address WR. Beane needs to break that habit. We should not be making overly optimistic bets on the WR room with the proviso that we can make a late add to fix it. Further, you might find youself locked out or played by a team like Miami, which likely happened last year.

Even if they trade for AJ Brown, I can almost guarantee they're drafting a wr with one of their top 3 picks

The one thing I'll say on Joe's behalf is that he actually tried to be realistic about the cap and made the money work. The peak cap space they get in this scenario is $32.84 million and they end up with $1.79 million after extending Torrence. A LOT of teams have more cap space than the Bills, so even though the latter can create a decent amount of space, their situation has to be placed in a larger context: https://overthecap.com/salary-cap-space. They will be competing against these other teams for the good players.

Some good but let's hope that Beane can do better then this.
